We went to The Marigny recently and had one of our best meals ever. We started off with raw oysters on the ½ shell and they large and fresh served over a bed of ice to keep them cold. They were very good. My wife had the crab meat catfish. It was a generous portion of fish stuffed with blue crab meat and it was served with home style fries. Both the catfish and the stuffing were cooked perfectly as where the home style fries. The dinner also came with a wedge salad with a butter milk ranch dressing which was very good. I had the whole muffuletta sandwich which is a monster of a sandwich made with fresh sliced mortadella, salami, mozzarella, ham, and provolone on a sesame seeded bun, with a marinated olive salad. If you ever have been to New Orleans and had Central Grocery’s muffuletta then if you close your eyes you will believe you are back in NOLA eating this same sandwich, which imo is one of the best ever. For a great meal with a Cajun flair you cannot do better than The Marigny
