Ok, let me tell you what this place isn’t. It’s not fancy. It’s not well furnished. It’s not even really a restaurant.
That said, it’s what it is that’s WAY MORE IMPORTANT. It’s first a tiny Mexican grocery store, with a surprise. There’s a small kitchen in the back and some tables. Not much to talk about. The menu is small, but the flavor, home made and exceptional. I had the carne asada, it was excellent. Sweet lady served me and did the cooking too. I will be back.
You want fancy? No. You want authentic? Yes.

Delicious! I was pumped to try this place out — surprise, surprise! Good tacos are scarce in these parts — and it was everything I had dreamed of (complete with a tall, dark Latin man!). Jokes aside, it is worth every penny. And trust me, they aren’t asking for very many pennies compared to every other place in SRB.

Stopped in this unassuming little Mexican grocery after noticing the ‘authentic tacos’ sign on the window. I’d been in a serious taco withdrawal since working in the Destin/​Ft. Walton area so I had to give this joint a go. What I got was taco bliss! Really outstanding chicken and chorizo tacos served with ample lime wedges, hot sauce, and a grilled jalapeño. True Mexican tacos served with chopped cilantro, onion and soft doubled corn tortillas. Tacos lovers will not be disappointed. My only regret is not snapping a picture before scarfing it all! A real Gem!
