Best donuts I have had in a long time! The breakfast was great also. Breakfast time was really busy and chaotic getting in but it was really good!

This is one of our favorite spots in Destin! We usually go pick up donuts a few times during the week we are here. The Oreo donut is great!

One of my favorite places to eat in Destin. Wife loves the BLT. I got the monster omelette and it was excellent. Kids love the pancakes. Portions are huge. We can never eat it all. If you can get there early you might can get an apple fritter. They are awesome!

This place is amazing! Went in around 11:30 and only had to wait in a very long line for a few minutes before we were seated. Our waiter was prompt and very kind! My mom got the western omelet and hashbrowns and said it was delicious. I had the breakfast burger which was also pretty good. Wished the meat was a little more flavorful but still good nonetheless. My mom said their coffee was delicious, and she’s picky so that’s saying something! We’re going back in the morning to try their donuts!
Update: the donuts were pretty good! Got a red velvet cake donut and it was great! The sour cream and Devils food were also good! Definitely need to get milk with them!

At 7:45am there was a line out the door that moved at a snails pace. i took out my book I had stored on my phone and read as I waited in line. You can’t see what flavor donuts are available, so you just have to wait until you get close to the counter and then make a quick decision…
My first choice would have been their long johns, but the lady opened one and they had hardly NO filling. If that’s what you like about a long john, they go for it, but that’s not what I was looking for. I went instead for a cream filled, and a oreo cream filled. OH MY GOODNESS — the oreo cream filled donut is probably one of the best donuts I’ve ever had. It was a memorable donut.
I will not be forgetting that donut anytime soon…

This place is packed but the service is so fast and the food and staff are wonderful. Ive never had a better tasting donut! My omlette was cooked perfectly and my brother loved his banana nut pancakes. Great serving size too. Prepare to wait during most times of the day but definitely worth the wait!

Delicious breakfast. Very large portions but oh so tasty! Very well priced and excellent service. We also had Arielle as our waitress and she was indeed amazing. She should be training servers!

Could probably be a five star too. It’s very well known, so during vacation season you will always have a wait. The prices are very fair, which is nice considering most restaurants in the area are overpriced. They have excellent donuts and I haven’t had a bad item on the menu. Tried the breakfast burger this last time. It was good, but not great. Zero complaints though. Our 3 yr old loved it!

Arielle was the best server I’ve had in a long time. She was extremely knowledgeable of the menu. Our food was the only thing we had to wait for, and that wasn’t long.
You get your money’s worth with the food. Make sure you are reaaallllly hungry if you order the «diet» plate. They have the best donuts I’ve had in the area and the best price as well.

My friend and I went and shared the golf omelet, sweet potato pancakes, grits, hashbrowns and red velvet donut. Seating around noon was pretty quick. They sit you at the first available regardless of your party size. We liked that. The employees are friendly, too. We had no idea the name of our waitress because she didn’t introduce herself. Odd.
Anyway, the part you really care about– the food. I’d say it was mediocre overall. My friend would say it was great. So, lets say we gave it a 3.5. The golf omelet was refreshingly different in that it had shrimp and local crab. Awesome.
Our sweet potato pancakes with praline sauce were delicious but did NOT taste like sweet potato pancakes by any means. I actually smelled it to make sure they gave us the right order. Only then did I discover that they were made with sweet potatoes but we didn’t go for the smells but for the taste.
Anyway, the hashbrowns were mostly burnt and the grits needed salt (which you could surely add yourself) but they were thicker than I had liked.
Oh, just so you know, the red velvet donut is overrated. Tasted like a cake donut…
Food is reasonably priced. We’d go back for the omelet and pancakes.

I can’t say enough about this place! I’m sad I just now discovered it! When my husband and I arrived there was a line out the door on a Saturday around 9:15. Good sign but we thought we would definitely be waiting at very least 30 – 45 min. We

The entire place ran like a well oiled machine and the place was PACKED. The entire staff seemed happy to be working in such fast paced environment.

We also got donuts to-​go. The whole place smelled like cinnamon and powdered sugar right when we walked through the doors. The donut display just makes your mouth water you can’t resist them.
All in all we had an amazing experience and highly highly recommend you try the Donut Hole next time you’re in Destin! We will make It a priority to stop in every time were In town!

We had some good eats at this place in Destin, FL! Got to try the «diet plate» if you like biscuits & gravy… the biscuits were amazing. The donuts looked good too, didn’t try.

Great find! We ate here three times on our week long vacation. We tried different breakfast specials and they were all delicious. It was busy each morning we came in, but they still got us in quickly and we always had great service. We loved this place!

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We came in at 9:30 on a weekday morning when it was BUSY but were thankfully able to get seated almost as soon as we were noticed by our waiter who doubled as a host (so impressive to manage all that). He quickly took our drink order and tended to other tables and getting other tables drinks on the way back to deliver ours (yep, the multi-​tasking skills still keep impressing). Our order was taken and we requested to get a donut as well. He brought us two donuts instead because the donuts had crumbled slightly on the edges (seriously, this guy). I had French toast and bacon and my husband had the special with ham, sausage, eggs, hash browns and two pancakes. The bacon was great and the French toast was good but I might as well have not ordered any once I tried the AMAZING pancakes. They were seriously so delicious, huge, fluffy and very very filling. This is the kind of restaurant you want to go to multiple times during your visit to Destin.

Everything was fantastic, including the service! Eggs were cooked perfectly, bacon was thick cut and crispy.

I was just reading through my old reviews, and realized this one really needs an update! I’ve been back to the Donut Hole several times over the last few years, and my experiences there have *vastly* improved. As a matter of fact, it is one of my favorite breakfast places in the area. The service is always excellent, and the food is always good. They do a great «traditional» breakfast, but have enough interesting specials to keep it interesting.

Short version:
Best breakfast spot in the Destin area. Huge omelettes stuffed full of ingredients. Fabulous baked goods. Be prepared to wait for a table. (But it is worth the wait!)
Long version:
What a GREAT breakfast place! We ate here last time we were in the Destin area and it was our FIRST stop this trip.
We had to wait as usual, but only about 5 minutes. If your part is larger than 4 you’ll probably wait longer. Stay! It is worth the wait!
I had the Gulf Coast Omelette which is cheese, peppers, onions, shrimp and crab meat. It was STUFFED with seafood. The shrimp were fresh, perfectly cooked, and almost as big around and my index finger. The crab meat was plentiful and tasted wonderful. This is one of the pricier options, but well worth the money! It comes with a side and bread. I chose hashbrowns and a biscuit. I couldn’t eat more than a few bites of either because the omelette was so large! However, both were perfect!
My wife had the Pimento Cheese Omelette, which incidentally was the other item I was eyeing! She thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a bite and it was cheesy, creamy, and had just the right amount of pimento pepper spice which is quite mild. It was just as large and just as stuffed as mine.
We also picked up some donuts to take back to the condo. We ate one of the delicious Red Velvet donuts while waiting on our food. It was a fabulous cake donut perfectly cooked and was sweet, creamy, and chocolaty.
The service is excellent. Our waitress was cheerful, prompt, offered suggestions, and my glass and my wife’s coffee cup never emptied.
You CANNOT go wrong here!
DON’T FORGET TO CHECK THE CHALK BOARDS FOR SPECIALS. They all looked great!

This is a nicer, newer location than the Destin one. However, food was not as good as I remember. My omelette was a tad overdone and not much cheese. In fact, they used to add melted cheese on top. Not this time. Hash browns were boring and biscuits were cold. My husbands corned beef hash and eggs were not good. Bland eggs and huge chunks of corned beef with a few edible pieces. Cheese grits– bowl full of oil. French toast was decent. Our neighbors pancakes looked good.
Service was friendly and fast. Kept the coffee and water flowing. We also grabbed some donuts to go. The best was the red velvet and is not to be missed! Explains why the line to get donuts was way longer than the line to be seated. Go early.

Hands down best doughnuts in destin! They have a wide variety of doughnuts, I have sampled most and they are all outstanding. The vanilla angel is the star though, the flavor and texture is unlike any other. I highly recommend this place if your in the area… if you do not get there early prepare to wait in line, but the line moves quick and is worth the wait.
Apart from the doughnut counter they also have a dine in breakfast /​brunch option available. Your topical fare but very good quality and service.

The carrot cake was so good it literally brought tears to my eyes…
