Took our grandkids ages 4&7 there and they had a blast. They rode around the arena, feed the other horses. And the little mule Frankie was the hit of the day. Staff was friendly, nice large riding arena, they allowed the kiddos to pet and feed the other horses and ponies till they were done. It sure made this grandmas day to see all the smiles that day also the horses seemed well taken care of and is a well maintained beautiful place. We will be back on our next visit

This place was amazing and accommodating. The stables are meticulously clean and well kept. The horses were well trained, easy to ride, and very friendly. We are very experienced riders so we asked to take a more difficult trail, faster horses, and to canter /gallop. The guide Mike and his wife bonnie were just perfect. Bonnie is the office manager who we randomly called at 9am to see if we could take a ride that morning. They fit us in at 1130 on a private tour for only $ 50/hour. Mike our guide was talkative, easy going, and made this one of the best guided tours we have ever been on. This will become will become an yearly excursion when we come to PCB.

The stables are beautiful, the horses well trained and cared for, and the guides were professional and vigilant. I highly recommend the trail ride for families. As a parent of a 7 year old who has just begun training, I was very pleased to see that the guides provided a brief safety and instructional lesson before we headed out that matched the instructions he is given during lessons.

What a nice start to the day. Our party of 6 really enjoyed the quiet and coolness of the forest. The horses were gorgeous and very well kept. Our guides were fun and made great effort to point out interesting sites on the trail.

Great place. Haven’t ridden in years but thoroughly enjoyed the friendliness and kindness of the people at the stables. If you want to race a horse, go to Kentucky. But if you want a relaxing time with great people, come here. However, watch out for Spirit; this one bites!!! Ha!

Great place to ride! The horses are beautiful and well trained. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about horses. Enjoyed riding through sand and water… was a new experience for me. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice ride.

My family had an amazing day at Arnett’s trail rides. The horses were so well taken care of. The staff were really nice and led us down the trail for about an hour. We even got to see some mini horses while we were there. We can’t wait to go back!

Our guide Jade was great. The trail was diverse with sandy and wet areas to ride through. Saw some fish and a big turtle during our ride. The kids rode with us so there was no extra cost for them which was nice. We went in the morning before it got too hot which worked out nicely. The kids enjoyed the ride and it was just long enough to hold their interest. Only reason I didn’t give them five stars was because we some trash along the trail(a rug and an old washing machine) that should be cleaned up. Still an overall enjoyable experience.

I was excited to try this local stable. They tout their horses as superior, i.e. ex-show horses, gaited, etc. I have ridden gaited horses all my life, and the trail guide promised me a smooth gaited horse. On the plus side, the horse appeared well cared for and the saddle was of good quality. The guide was quite friendly and talkative. But unfortunately we never even ventured outside of a slow walk for the full hour. It was tedious and underwhelming, particularly in light of the fact that I was the only one on the ride. When we got back, he said I could ride around the ring, but the horse was unmoveable without a crop or spurs(very safe horses!). This is a good place for novices.

What a day! First, I’m no horseman. With great trepidation, I took the family on an «off day» during a beach vacation in the Gulf. A little confusing to find, as there’s no sign on the road other than the address, we finally pulled in and were instantly impressed with the well maintained grounds and stables. Head trainer Mike met us soon after and gave us a short but thorough lesson on horsemanship. Extremely helpful as I’ll point out later. 20 minutes later, my wife, my 8 year old daughter and I are each on our own Tennessee Walking horse loping along with Mike on an hour long ride through the Florida pine forest. Splashing through shallow rivers, walking over old felled trees, it all felt absurdly peaceful and surprisingly comfortable. The horses are each so well trained that we were all effortlessly guiding them along the trail. Among the trainer’s most important bits of advice was not to let your horse stop and eat. Problem being, they would finish, and then panic when they couldn’t see the horses in front of them. Enter, the gallop. Ask me how I know! That’s a whole new experience that was actually pretty cool. Doing just what the trainer said, leaning forward, pulling the reins and balancing in your stirrups, I was able to slow«Flash»(how did I not see that coming?) down and trot back up to the others, looking like Gabby Hayes, but definitely feeling like Roy Rogers. All in all, one of the best experiences of the beach trip and one that we will definitely return and do next year. Note, your 8 year old will probably think you’re the best for at least one day longer.
