Just left an hour ago in tears. I tried to have 2 sons seen today; one at 4pm and one at 8:30. When I arrived at 8:30pm, I was told my son, who has a ear ache, history of ear infections, tubes and hearing loss, would be triaged by the nurse then seen tomorrow or go to er. In disbelief, I told the receptionist that it was not okay to be turned away twice in one day. Of course the receptionist denied turning us away. So the nurse came out and after I told her how wrong it was to be turned away twice the R.N. became very upset, got in my face and said, «sign in and we’ll see your son but there is 10 people ahead of you and I have a lot of stuff to do!» I asked for her the R.N.s name and the receptionist, and said due to their treatment I was going to file a complaint. The receptionist laughed and said, «go ahead and file a complaint with my office manager. «Needless to say, my son and I left both in tears as well as pain. What a horrible place and employees who lack any compassion as well as professionalism. I’m filling formal complaints with CMH and my insurance company. I hope I can save future patients from this horrible treatment.
