I was prepared to give this place 4 stars today, because I shop here occasionally and kind of like it. However, I stopped by today to buy head scarves and while the owner was ringing me up, she went on this intense political rant that was totally unsolicited. She said she was voting for Sanders and that she hated Hilary. That’s totally fine in my opinion, however she proceeded to say that Blacks in the south were going to vote for Hilary because they are«uneducated». She said a mouth full and because I have a bad habit of being polite to a fault I was stuck listening to her. She went on to say that Blacks on the east and west coast in their 20’s and 30’s would vote for Sanders. Even though I place into that age group, she volunteered to say I was going to vote for Hilary because I have«that Hilary Clinton look»! Omg, I’m pretty sure that was an insult, based on her disdain for the Clintons on top of everything else she said about Black people with regard to voting. Even though I don’t walk around with my Masters degree plastered to my forehead, I’m highly educated and perfectly capable of making informed decisions. At any rate, I never even said who I was going to vote for. All I wanted was a couple of head scarves. Sorry miss, but you just lost a customer. My day was going all Zen like with my Rose quartz in my pocket and everything, but now my feathers are ruffled and I have a serious headache. :-( (I know at some point I will laugh at this experience, but as of now, Good riddance!) 087⁄100

I had passed by the shop a few times and decided to stop by today. The lady running the shop seemed bothered that I was there. I looked at a necklace and she snapped at my right away the price. I then looked at the tapestries in the back and picked up ONE and she right away comes back to tell me that she has to fold all of them again after I look at them so just tell her which one I want. It was pretty weird. I work at a medical office down the street and was in my business attire so I’m not sure why she treated me like that. It was strange and will not be back. I had incense and a necklace in my hand that I wanted to purchase and I just set them down and walked out and said never mind. Hopefully she will be kind to her customers in the future

Perfect place for incense, statuary, and other beautiful things from India and Nepal. I love this shop and appreciate the incense I smell when I walk by. I own a store very similar and wish there were more spiritually uplifting places everywhere we go that guide a greater amount of people to higher things. It’s what we need on this earth, people who are spiritually minded rather than materialistically minded. This store can help guide you and the others you send to it in the right direction. Go visit them.

Don’t miss this little nook! Huge selection of incense to satisfy your need for Nag, and pretty clothing pieces and jewelry. Asha is also one of the sweetest Santa Monica business people I’ve met. You can park at the grocery store and get your food for the week and your fix for Timeless Symbols at the same time. Enjoy!

This store is a hidden gem. It’s right near the Vons on the sidewalk on the south side of Broadway. They have a very good selection at very good prices. I spotted it while walking with my mom, I went there to buy some incense. The owner was very friendly and helpful. She suggested two that I really liked. I will definitely shop there again.

A market located in a niche next to the Vons on Broadway, this little Buddhist haven is full of incense, statuary, and cloth items for the intersted patron. The owner always greets you with a smile, and willingly answers any questions posed to her. The prices are quite reasonable, especially for its location. This shop is always a must stop during my vacations to the area.

My wife and I love that Timeless Symbols is in our neighborhood. Asha is always fun to talk to and she has the largest selection of incense sticks I’ve seen. This is a great spot for finding gifts for friends and family and you can’t walk by the shop without the peaceful scents luring you into the storefront.

I have seen this little store front on various occasions, mainly when trying to go the pavillions, but this time I decided to stop and check it out. This little shop(can it be called a shop? it barely has walls lol) has all sorts of imported, handmade, hand woven goods. Their items are mainly imported from India and all have a one-of-a-kind type of feel. The man working that day was very gracious and even told me a little bit about the owners history and culture. He helped me find a unique shawl with hand beaded accents, a purchase I am very pleased with… It’s gorgeous. It’s a tad pricey, but I imagined it to be since many of the items are hand made or carved. Parking was easy during the afternoon, snagged a meter right in front. They accept cash and credit cards.

As I write this review, I’m floating over a lotus blossom in the famous downward facing dog yoga position… First, Timeless Symbols isn’t an actual store. Its more like a storefront on the side of Vons, which is across the street from Bay Cities. Timeless Symbols sells incense, Indian scarves, Buddhist jewelry, and spiritual symbolic doo-dads of that nature. Makes me feel all spiritual and stuff, omg. Kabbalah string, anyone? Secondly, the owner is really nice. She is super friendly and very helpful. She greeted the people that came by, by name and seemed to know everyone on a personal level. She answered my silly questions about what the different symbols and colors on the jewelry meant. Oh, and she takes credit card too! This place is a great little gem. You can feel your karma points just racking up after shopping here. Now, I know where to buy gifts for all my spiritual, kind souled friends. Om…
