.. I just ordered cashew chicken, vegetables not fresh, tasted like it started to go bad and had to return. Such a waste of time waiting for their slow service.

The food was good. I’ve ordered from there twice. First time delivery and the second time I picked it up. It was probably the worst service I’ve ever received. I was waiting behind two other guest trying to pick up their food. No one says anything to me; no hi or anything. Two waiters where hanging on the chairs laughing with each other four feet away. Then I get up there and the other young waiter and waitress say nothing to me until I finally say hi I’m here to pick up my order. I was pissed I gave them a $ 1.47 tip to pick up my food to people who acted like they didn’t want me there. Four«staff members» there and no one greets the guest: very distasteful. The food is good but the service is terrible. If I go again I’m only tipping the chef or I’ll give them exact change. Be good to people, it makes a difference.

Best Pad See Yew I’ve had in a long time. The Thai ice tea that I unlocked free for checking in did not disappoint either. Ambience is lovely. Lots of plants, orchids, art on the walls and hanging from the ceiling. Colored lights. Dark wood and many boothes.

I LOVE thai food, so I hate giving a less than great review of a thai restaurant. I just moved to the area and ordered in from here. First, the yellow curry was too watery for my taste– not sure if that is a style choice, but it was a bit more of a yellow curry soup than a creamy, yet wet curry that I am used to and love. It was also a bit overly spicy for a yellow(based on my experience). The pad thai was fine, nothing wrong, but wasn’t special either. I read a review here before ordering about someone finding hair in their food. I thought– totally could happen and be a one time thing. Well, over the course of my meal I found not one, but 2 short black hairs in the yellow curry. I also found 2 more hairs in the container with fresh spring rolls! Concerning after I just read that. So, maybe there’s a change that needs to happen to prevent that for future customers– that’s a LOT of hair. They were all short black stiff hairs. The spring rolls were not good at all– the rice paper coating was very stiff and chewy. They also contained shrimp, which I wasn’t expecting– I thought they would be vegetarian. I tried, but couldn’t eat them. Delivery service was good, and I feel bad for writing a bad review. But usually I find thai food to be pretty reliable, and this was honestly just not a good experience. I will try another restaurant for my next order. Gotta find my regular thai order around here, cause I really love it.

Flavors that reflect the flavors we’ve had in Thailand. Other than the usual dishes we Americans get in Thai restaurants, they have a Crying Tiger beef that is pretty tasty. My favorite is the pumpkin curry, with chinks of kabocha pumpkin. SO’s favorite is the pineapple curry. Their pineapple fried rice is better than other places in the area.

I tried the garlic pepper with beef last night and it was amazing! I’ve finally found my Thai food spot in Santa Monica! It was even good as leftovers.

Had a fantastic lunch here. The pad Thai was perfect and the flavor was just right. The noodles were not over cooked. My daughter had some spicy chicken(gluten free) and it was just as good. The flavors are different and savory. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our go-to local Thai restaurant! Consistently amazing food, reasonably priced and awesome staff. I highly recommend you make this your new favorite spot too! After traveling to Thailand, this place tastes like the real deal. I’ve tried most of the menu with different regional dishes. Our favorite dishes are Panang curry, Pineapple Fried Rice and either Pad Thai or Pad Se Ew. Every dish is full of flavor without feeling greasy. Thai Dishes Wilshire deserves every bit of 5 stars!

Consistently good food, and reasonably priced. We eat mostly vegetarian and chicken and are always happy with what we get. Spicy eggplant is delicious and the curries are flavorful.

This place impressed and I could not be happier having given it a shot. The soup was delicious and came in a super cool serving dish! Definitely recommend this place to people looking for a great Thai spot or to beat the Wilshire Blvd traffic. The staff is a bit slow but still nice and friendly.

Anytime I come here, I get the yellow curried fried rice. So so good! My one and only favorite dish here. I usually get it extra spicy but since I’m sharing today, I went a little easy on the spice. I also got my free Thai tea with a check-in. Very sweet but oh so yummy. I only get down to Santa Monica every few months but this place is definitely one stop I have to make!

One of my favorite restaurants in Santa Monica. They offer great service. One of our favorite waiters is Carlos, who always greets us with a smile and makes our visit so much fun. The menu is Asian fusion and there is plenty of yummy dishes on the menu. I highly recommend their curries as they are delicious. My friends love their shrimp rice and sticky mango rice. Excellent price for a very tasty food and great service.

I think this Thai Dishes is pretty good. I really like the Pineapple Fried Rice. When ordering in the restaurant, it’s served in a hallowed out pineapple(to go is in a huge plastic container). I like the portion you get with the pineapple fried rice — always have some left over. The Chicken Pad See-Ew is very good as well. The servers and cashier are always nice to me. There is a parking in back lot that is a bit odd(supposedly free but few signs even stating whose lot it is) but I usually park on the street. I think this is one of the better Thai Restaurants in Santa Monica.

Reliably tasty panang curry and steamed broccoli. It is swift delivery and flawless organization(forks, napkins, neatly packaged food) — they are 5 stars for packaging, delivery and food.

Thai Dishes is my favorite Thai restaurant in Santa Monica. The Tom Yum soup with vegetables is excellent and is served in a flame-heated bowl. The chicken satay with peanut sauce is my favorite and is always fresh and succulent. The Pad Kee Mao spicy noodles are very flavorful, but were quite spicy last time I had them. I’ve been getting the pumpkin curry lately, and it’s an interesting twist on a familiar dish, with soft chunks of squash in a flavorful coconut curry sauce. And the mango sticky rice is my favorite dessert when it’s in season, with sweet mango chunks surrounding rice and coconut milk.

The food was good, but it’s always a let-down when your server doesn’t take a genuine interest in making sure that you’re taken care off. Customers are watching we take notice.

Worst Thai food in Santa Monica. Also, they do not turn on the heat when it is cold outside. I was almost shivering while eating. The food just doesn’t taste good. I would not come back.

Super delicious, and after one experience, it’s already a new local favorite Thai restaurant for me! My boyfriend wanted to find a new Thai restaurant for us, and just Unilocaled a few of the closest ones to our house. I was really hesitant because of the poor rating, but I am really glad I took the dive with him. He ordered our usual order from Siam Best(«SM»): duck curry with rice and pad kee mao with tofu. The food was prepared fast, and pickup was quick and easy. There is definitely a difference in the quality of the food between here and SM. The fried tofu was delicate and moist, not dried up and oily the way they prepare it at SM, and the noodles were soft and tasted fresh. I couldn’t believe that this dish was the same price, but tasted so much better! The only drawbacks are that my boyfriend’s duck curry cost way more than it does at SM and the portions are a bit smaller. Despite the smaller portions, I was still able to eat half of my meal and save the rest for lunch the next day, so it was probably just a healthier portion than I’m used to. I’m not sure what’s «fusion» about this restaurant, as most(if not all) of the menu consists of Thai food. I honestly can’t believe how poor their Unilocal rating is because I really enjoyed my pickup order experience. It’s unfortunate because it really deterred me from trying it for so long! Please ignore all the negativity on here and see for yourself. There is metered parking available on Wilshire and permit parking available on the numbered streets. They accept credit card, and the restaurant has a very intimate and romantic atmosphere with dim lighting.

Yummmmmmy! Came here for lunch and what a great choice I made! I ordered the lunch special Panang, which is a red curry dish. Added broccoli for $ 2. This dish is busting with flavor. Didn’t take long to get my food and everything was nice and hot. Redeemed the check in offer for a free Thai iced tea, which hubby said was delicious. I pride myself on manners, but honey let me tell you I can’t stop licking my fingers! Water was great(not that nasty tap taste) and service was decent. Looking forward to my next lunch.

Coworkers brought me pad Thai back from here. Very oily, thin noodles and I prefer thick, no sides in it ie carrots cabbage, and overall just not tasty and not worth it. I love Thai food but this isn’t the place.

Hair in food is a big no no. Ever hear of hair nets? Perhaps wear them. I will personally buy you some for when you make my food. But you know what, I get it, sh1t happens. I’ve been here more times than I can count and I’ve never had a hair in my food till last night. Perhaps if a different approach was taken like say really apologizing and at least taking off the app that had hair in it off the bill I would have overlooked it… but that’s not the way things went down. They acted like a hair in food is completely normal and that it’s no problem that my appetite was ruined and charged me for everything. Like you would rather charge me extra $ 7.95 then hold my continuous business? Ok. Works for me. I’ve known some restaurants will try to blame the hair on you and say it’s yours, that’s why I’m glad that I noticed the hair as the waitress was setting down my plate on the table. Even before the plate hit the table I was like«whoa whoa there’s hair in that». There’s no way I’m giving this place 5 stars after that experience. Quite honestly the first bad review I gave them due to poor service feels quite justifiable at this point. Stupid of me but because I go here so much I still MIGHT go back since its so convenient, but I will be sure to use a magnifying glass to look at my food before I eat it cause who knows what kind of crap might creep up in my food. For now I’m on a hunt for a new Thai place.

I have been here a few times. They have lunch specials M-F from 12 – 3 at around the $ 10 – 14 price range. I personally know that the shrimp fried rice is delicious. Their customer service is not always on point. Sometimes they are very attentive, other times its kike you’re not even in the restaurant, which is why I docked it a star. They do have parking in the back, its free unless youre there over an hour. You can always park in the walgreens parking lot and not have to worry about paying, theyre open 24 hours a day.

It’s pretty good! I got the pad kee mao lunch special, which came with soup, brown rice, a fried dough thing, and an orange slice. All for $ 10. The dish itself was mildly spicy and very well cooked. The flat noodles were not overdone and soggy. Instead, they tasted freshly cooked. The chicken was not overcooked, and brown rice had the rice consistency. It was not too salty either! My friend got the Pad Thai, which looked awesome. Large portions. He asked for no bean sprouts, but actually got double bean sprouts, which was funny. I also ordered a Thai ice tea, which was good, but really really sweet. They can probably cut down the sugar by about half. If you check in, you get a free one if your bill is over $ 15. Service was really fast, and they take credit card(including Amex).
