Excellent spot for a blow out! Marina works magic on my hair; she is on point every time, but can also switch up my style when I’m looking for a new look. Marina has also done my makeup for a special event, and I was beyond happy with the results; she made me look incredible! The staff are attentive and friendly, offering drinks and snacks every time I visit. I love how they pamper their guests, and the ambiance is energizing! Prices are reasonable and they don’t keep you waiting. Highly recommend.

DONOTEVERGOTOTAYLORFORYOURHAIR!!! I would like to give absolutely no stars to this salon! Not only do they let incompetent people work at this salon but they also do not care at all about their clients. These are money grubbing thieves and no one should trust these people with their hair! I have lost already half of my hair and it just keeps falling out from the roots!!! My hair stylist was Taylor and now I wonder if she even went to beauty school or even has a license. She was suppose to just bleach my roots and put toner because my hair is blonde with my natural hair being black. She didn’t even know how to do it and instead she was just trying to charge me for anything, she was asking me how my previous hair stylist had done it so I told her. She went in the back to mix something and to chit chat on the phone, comes back and starts my roots, after application she says shes gonna leave that on for 25 min then goes to the back to chit chat again on the phone. When she comes back I notice that my hair has turned brown and not almost white. So she tells me she’s gonna have to charge me for a color correction now cause she needs to bleach it.(At that time I thought she was using bleach this whole time but later when I called to find out what they used she told me she put a color first then tried to bleach it.) She made me sign a waiver cause she said she can’t be responsible if anything happens, and me being so naïve and not knowing better I signed it. Then she finally bleached my roots with 40 volume and while shes doing that, right in the middle she asks if i wanna continue or if i wanna do balayage instead and then shows me a picture of some ugly ass disgusting not even remotely close to any sort of balayage then when she’s done she proceeds again to the back to chit chat on the phone while my scalp is slowly burning away. After she washed it I stormed out. I had a big orange band all around my head with hair falling out everywhere in big chunks from root to end. When i got home i had to wash my hair because i felt she still had left some bleach in it. This has been the worst salon experience of my life ever!!! How could someone do this in such a nice salon that I thought would be professional and well qualified especially in that location. I need to have proof that this Taylor Silva actually has a license because I believe she might just be a friend of the owner or something. DONOTEVERGOTOTAYLORFORYOURHAIR!!! This salon only has good reviews because all the bad ones got deleted, if you go on the bottom of the page you can see the comments that this salon tried to hide!

DONOTCOMEHERE: I came to this salon to have my make-up and hair done for my Best friends wedding. Upon arriving I was greeted by my stylist Taylor. She sat me in the chair and we discussed what styles and makeup looks I was interested in having. I told her I wanted a blow out with lots of volume and for half of my hair to be pinned back. She told me that I wasn’t booked for an «updo» and that a regular blowout and make-up was all that she would have time for. I was annoyed since I booked the appt for blowout/updo and makeup application, once again it was for a wedding that I am the Maid of Honor for. So I felt it was important for me to get exactly what I was requesting. I decided to let that matter go and I would manage to pin half of my hair up myself after my apt once I got to the wedding. Taylor takes me to the sink to shampoo my hair. She steps away and comes back with latex gloves on. Now, I have had my hair done thousands of times and I have neverrrrr had a stylist wash my hair with latex gloves on. I thought maybe this was salon procedure but other clients there didn’t receive this same type of treatment. After my awkward shampoo I’m taken back to my chair. She starts my blowout and proceeds to tell me how my hair is too long and needed layers because it was limp looking. At this point I’m thinking the woman has seriously something against my hair. While she is working on my blow we begin discussing the make up I was interested in. I told her I wanted a natural look. I pulled up a photo from my phone as reference. Light taupe colored eye, with natural flushed cheeks with a soft beige pink lip. After my blowout she takes me to the back where makeup is applied and faces me away from the mirror. Again while I’m having my makeup done I’m telling her how the bride is very simple and beautiful and the look she is going for with the wedding is very elegant and boho. I wanted my makeup to compliment the theme of the wedding and the bride. Of course we all know especially any makeup artist should know a brides makeup is usually on the more natural side. Neutral colors and so on. The make-up look I received was anything but natural and elegant. I looked like a Modern day Geisha. I’m a tan woman, mixed race. My face was completely WHITE, My lips were RED, my cheeks were heavily contoured with dark shimmery bronzer and lashes were 2 inches long. I was a mix between Drag & Geisha. No simpler way to explain it. Considering she didn’t have time to pin half of my hair up I knew there was no point in arguing with them to fix it. In all honestly we were long pass having them fix any of it. Immediately after seeing my make-up the tears began to fill my eyes. I couldn’t get out of that salon fast enough. Taylor and the receptionist both wanted to take photos of me at which one point I began to fill like it was all one big joke. No way on earth this makeup would be appropriate for any wedding. Even an extravagant one. As soon as I left the salon I called around to multiple salons and finally got an immediate apt with Nordstroms at the Grove Giorgio Armani make up counter. I raced across town, throw on my sunglasses and ran to the counter. The manger of the counter and makeup artist were in complete shock when they saw me. The said my face was about 5 solid shades too light and that everything was to harsh looking. They took me to the restroom to wash my face and completely redid my makeup. But I’ll save that for another review. They were complete godsends. I definitely can not recommend this place to any person. Maybe for just a simple blowout but again I think Drybar is far superior to quality in that department as well. I did attempt to call the manager but she never seemed to be in the salon at the time of my calls. Stay Away

Marina just did an up-do for me, and it came out amazing! You can go wrong with Aveda color or products, they’re not damaging and all smell so good! Thanks for the great style! I’ll be back for sure :)

What an amazing find! The staff is so amazing and friendly and the service is just perfect! Did my color and a haircut and it looks great. And the blowouts are only $ 35 on Mon-Wed. Cant wait to visit them again. Sechoir + is a true full service salon!

I absolutely love Max — he is a fantastic stylist and has consistently given me great cuts and color. I’d definitely give him 5 starts! However, he’s very often out of town or unavailable and after having to be rescheduled so many times I’m officially having to move on. In the end Sechoir can make you feel like you’re not a priority, and I deserve more when I drop $ 500 bucks on my hair. Thanks anyway, Sechoir!

I like this place as a slightly cheaper alternative to DryBar, though some stylists are less experienced than others. I was happy with my end result, but the blowout took too long. My hair is pretty easy to work with — it’s bone straight and curls easily. The main issue with my hair is how fine it is, so it’s hard to achieve lasting volume. My blowouts usually only last a day too, so it’s hard to justify the price for something so temporary that I can achieve at home. But I like to get blowouts for special occasions when I want to pamper myself and also save time. I came in to get my hair blow dried and curled with a wand. My stylist was super sweet and she did a decent job, but she worked really slowly. I was there close to 2 hours, and I ended up having to rush home to finish getting ready. Keep in mind, I have very little hair and it doesn’t take long to curl. I have definitely done the same hair style on myself in 30 minutes. Time issues aside, her curl job was also considerably better than the blowout itself, which didn’t add much volume alone. Overall, they did an okay job, but the service lacked that professionalism and convenience factor I look for in a salon blowout.
