I took my first class at Sandpiper with Tracy today. I really enjoyed it. At first I was hesitant because the machines were different than the ones I was used to but once the class got going it didn’t matter. It was pretty challenging and I got sweaty(it’s been a while since a Pilates class did that). Overall, great class with great instruction. I can see myself maxing out the classes here via class pass. I’ll definitely be back!

Me and my fiancé just took our first group class with Elizabeth and she was so wonderful. She really takes the time to correct your form and makes sure that you don’t hurt yourself. Great workout! Can’t wait to go back!

I have been attending this studio for 1 ½ years and decided it was time to log a review. This studio is a real secret. Incredibly private, no more that 5 students in a class and the privates with Tracy are amazing. I underwent shoulder surgery and Tracy got my arm working again and my achilles tendons were a real problem. Not anymore. The studio is tucked away off of Wilshire Blvd in a very lovely space. You walk up the stairs and you are transcended into a lovely private two room studio. Oh and the instructors are patient and wonderful. The place is amazing!

Sandpiper Pilates is a true hidden gem! Located off a historic courtyard, the charming studio offers private, semi private and group sessions led by either Tracy or Liz, two of the sweetest, most earnest and knowledgeable instructors I have ever worked with. I am an older participant and they are so good working around past injuries and concerns. I feel so much better since signing on with sandpiper Pilates!

I love Sandpiper Pilates! Tracy and Liz are both so great. I’m challenged to try new things every time I go — the time flies by! The studio is adorable too– such a charming place. Thank you, Tracy!

I love everything about this Pilates studio: the teaching, the small group classes, the other people who go here, the space. Really high quality classical Pilates instruction, really nice people(teaching and attending); no ‘tude; very supportive and encouraging. The classes really keep you on your toes as they always change up the moves, even though they are all ‘true’ Pilates so it is never boring. The 50 minutes goes really fast because I’m listening and concentrating on what goes where. Instructors explain everything really well and do not use any jargon so when you’re a newbie you don’t feel like one. Other tips: You need to wear grip socks; I recommend doing the good value new student package of 3 privates before doing a group class if you want to feel really confident going into your first group one. However, if you’re sporty/strong/coordinated you could probably jump right in to one of the mixed level classes. They are as demanding as you make them; the intermediates are just harder but they don’t offer that many of those.

I’ve been a regular here for over a year, and highly recommend the studio. The instructors are all well-trained and keep the classes both challenging and fun. While the space can sometimes seem a little cramped, I much prefer the small classes with 3 – 4 other participants over one of those huge impersonal places. Keep up the great work, Tracy.

I am so impressed with Sandpiper Pilates! Tracy, the Studio owner, is an amazing teacher and she has hired other equally as gifted teachers as well. I workout there 4 – 5 times a week and never have the same workout twice! It’s a wonderful studio to feel challenged and have fun at the same time. Taking classes at Sandpiper Pilates is truly one of the highlights of my day!
