LOVEHER! It is rare to find a doctor who is both efficient and thorough. She listens, asks logical questions, processes information quickly, and explains things clearly. Office staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I had blood drawn and it was nice to be able to do it in the office and not need to go to a separate lab. Parking structure is expensive, so try to find metered parking on the street!

For over 20 years I have gone from doctor to doctor, medication to medication, never achieving relief of the sneezing, sniffing and congestion. Over the years I’ve found it easier to to cope with my allergies, than find treatment that actually works consistently. I was slightly worried before my visit because my allergies were«behaving». I was afraid that the Dr. would not see me as someone who’s life has been altered by constant allergies. Thankfully I saw Dr. Kachru. She took one look inside my nose and said«you are a textbook case of someone with very allergic turbinates, someone who has learned to live with their allergies… and some pretty serious symptoms». It was a big relief to hear a doctor say those words. I learned I not only suffered from Allergy Rhinitis, but also displayed symptoms of Vasomotor(non-allergic) Rhinitis. I was not aware of the latter, but what she described were the the EXACT triggers that would cause me to sneeze, cough and itch my eyes. Since it was my first visit to Dr. Kachru I have not experienced any allergy relief yet, but I am anticipating positive results for the first time after many, many years. What I did experience was an extremely knowledgeable and attentive doctor who took the time to thoroughly examine my personal symptoms and explain why they occur and how they can be treated. I have a another appointment with Dr. Kachru for an allergy test and depending on the results, a plan of treatment which will likely include allergy shots. I highly recommend Dr. Kachru.

We have not seen Dr. Kachru in a while only because my son has not had issues for a few years now, but I recommend her to others frequently — whenever I get the chance. Like another reviewer, I had not realized I had not written a review yet. Dr. Kachru is the most thorough and sincerely kind Dr. I have encountered. She takes as long as needed to explain things and answer questions. She will work with you to come up with a plan(in the case of asthma) so you know exactly what to do if your child has an asthma attack(in my case, my son is her patient). Then, you understand what it going on, are prepared and ready, and avoid the ER! I cannot recommend her enough.

PLEASENOTEDR. KACHRU is now at UCLA — Her # is 310−481−4646 now. Review: I went to see Dr. Kachru about six years ago to get a variety of allergy tests done. She was so thorough and had such great bedside manner that I have recommended her to about a dozen friends since then. Sorry for the late review, guess I never got around to it!

Dr Kachru is one of the best doctors I’ve ever been to. She is extremely warm and friendly, but more importantly really listens to what is going on with you and takes a methodical approach in treatment. At my first consultation, she took a detailed history of health, including allergy symptoms from childhood. She answered all my questions patiently. Once, her office staff made a scheduling mistake and scheduled my appointment with another doctor in the office, but once I got there she was able to fit me in her schedule. Wait times are reasonable — very short in the morning, and about 20 – 30 minutes in the afternoon. There is plenty of metered parking on the street in front of the office, and the meters accept credit cards. Highly recommend if you need an allergist!
