Great salon with great service. They’ve always given me a phone call reminder about my upcoming appointment and even a check-​in if an earlier time opens up.
Mimi has been my hairstylist since I started going to Object Salon. I’ve done an ombré balayage with her and she’s the first stylist to get it right for me! Quick, painless, and professional. Mimi is such a joy to be around. Pricing is extremely decent for the great work she does (and in comparison to many other salons out there).

Mia is awesome! Very friendly, professional, and extremely good at her job. My haircut turned out great.

Found this place on Unilocal on Wednesday night, book an appointment for Friday with Mia. It was my first time trying out balayage so I had some pictures prepared before I went in. Mia was SOOOOOOOO helpful! She’s super nice and explained everything to me. I had dyed my hair black 6 months ago so she told me that the results are going to come out a little different from the picture, but 3 hours later OMG I LOVE MY HAIR!!! It’s something that I’ve never tried before. Natural but definitely distinct. My boyfriend loves my hair and I would definitely go back here! AND THE PRICE IS SO MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE THAN I HAD EXPECTED: D like really not kidding

Got my haircut about a week before Christmas. Shu never disappoints. My hair still looked good after 24 hours. That never happens.

I have been looking for a new hair salon for a while now and wanted to give Object Salon a chance based on their Unilocal reviews. My haircut was $ 52 with the 20% first time customer discount. My stylist was Emma. This has been my favorite haircut ever! The whole experience was 1.5 hours and she really took her time talking to me about what I wanted, and perfecting the cut. I am very happy with this place and will definitely return.

Nice location, very friendly and courteous staff. My stylist was Mia and she gave me a great haircut at a reasonable price. I recommend Object Salon and Mia very highly.

Mimi was my hairstylist from the get-​go. I chose her because all the reviews were glowing. She is an adorable and very talented hair cutter and colorist. She always listens, never rushes through anything, and will always double check to make sure what she’s going to do is what you actually want. I’ve come to her multiple times now.
We’ve had great success with her lightening my base color and adding ash blonde highlights to my very black hair. She offers to re-​tone your hair if the toner washes out (leaving your hair looking brassy) in 2 weeks. She’s always 100% happy to resolve any issues you may have.
Street parking is easy, great customer service overall, reasonable prices, and not at all pushy with selling products.

I am so happy with my cut and color by Mimi. I now feel like I can change my color a few times a year and not ruin my hair. I decided to go darker for winter, and Mimi transformed my bayalage to a rich chocolate with subtle highlights. And my hair looks and feels super healthy.

I think I found my stylist! Massage during the hair wash. Color come out great! Love the cut too.

Made an appointment with kana since she was mentioned several times on Unilocal.
Was looking for a lighter do for summer, ice always had dark brown hair.
I really loved the ombré look, just wasnt sure of how it would look on me since my complexion is kinda tan. She suggested for me to stay with dark hair, and from there she worked her magic on the tips.
The outcome was/​is amazing! Fits me just right. Oh and the haircut she did was amazing too! Just what I’ve been wanting.
Will be coming back for sure!!!

Simply put, I’ve found my hair stylist. No more hopping around from one mediocre haircut to the next. Mia is the only one to skillfully navigate my thin, annoying hair and come up with various styles. She is a real pro.
The highlight though is absolutely the shampoo /​head massage. I’m a fan of massages, but no matter how good or how relaxing they are, I’ve never fallen asleep. Well, I completely fell into a deep sleep during my shampoo with Mia. It feels great, not rushed, and thorough.
See Mia. Seriously. No one has been able to work with my annoying hair the way she has. She’s a real cutie, too ;)

This salon is such a find — non-​pretentious, nice staff, easy to find parking and affordable prices.
If you’re looking for someone to take your hair color from boring to aahmaazing, then call and ask for Mimi. This sweet girl is a wizard when it comes to balayage and ombré. I came in with a grown out ombré and just needed to have some oomph put back in, and Mimi delivered that and more! Being a natural blonde I didn’t need much done, I thought, but what Mimi did was just beautiful. My hair is vibrant and shiny and impossibly natural looking. Thanks Mimi, you’re a rare find.

It’s really hard to find a hair salon that clicks with you and you feel comfortable with. There are many places out there who recommend all kinds of services that you don’t quite need and try to charge you an arm and a leg. Well, not this salon. And I might add that I’ve been going to this establishment for about ten years or so now. My go-​to stylist is Kana. She’s a lovely girl who listens to your needs and produces your desired cut and color. The hair on my profile pics were also done by her. She’s just fantastic! I recommend you book well ahead of time since she’s in high demand. When it comes to my hair, I only trust her and you won’t be disappointed!

A couple days before going into the salon, I dyed my hair using a box coloring. It wasn’t at all what I wanted so I made a hair consultation appointment. Mia was very straightforward with everything that she was doing and was very considerate, such as asking if the water temperature was okay or if I needed anything to drink.
As for my hair, I ended up getting a bayalage and coloring. I showed her images of the idea I wanted it to be and she made sure it was as accurate as possible.
If anyone is looking for a hair salon to knows how to work with thick, asian hair, I highly recommend this place.

I came here because my friend recommended Kana.
Kana is so great! Her coloring skills are awesome! She cut my hair, did the coloring and treatment. I didn’t have specific style in mind so I just asked her to make it nice & repair my hair because it was damaged. She’s amazing and it’s so much more than I expected! She did beautiful coloring without making my hair damaged and made my hair silky soft with treatment.
It’s been couple months now and it still looks brand new and still feels silky. It’s easy to style my hair too. My bf loves my new look! Kana is a true professional!
I’m definitely going back to her and strongly recommend Kana. She’s the best!

Kana is the best Colorist ever! I have my color done with her so many times and always comes out perfect. My hair is naturally dark and gets so brassy easily but every time she does somehow dismiss red tone on my hair. Recently, I had a balayage highlight with her and she did a great job again! Thank you!

Mimi did a great job with my bayalage touch up! She lifted it and gave it new life but that wasn’t the best part of my experience.
When I wasn’t completely happy with the highlights around my face (I wanted more!) she immediately offered me a time slot the next day to give me exactly what I wanted at no additional cost. Fantastic service and overall a lovely human being.

Got another retouch color by Mimi, she was kind enough to ask for updates on the hair of the color kept after two weeks. I’m glad she checks up on her clients.
Everyone is so nice at the salon and it seems like they’re getting busier — also notice they work well together and everyone helps each other out. Mimi was busy with another client but the assistant was nice and very polite: she was washing and drying my hair.
Since coming to object salon, I am actually excited to go see a hair stylist now. Can’t wait for a new hair do!

I came to Object Salon to have my hair done by Mimi, at the recommendation of a friend. I saw my friend’s hair, which was a soft ombré (balayage), and I knew that’s what I wanted as my very first dye job. (Virgin hair, baby!) I felt more comfortable having my hair dyed for the first time by someone who was recommended.
Mimi was very detail oriented and made sure she did what I wanted. She was clear, gentle, and very thorough. She’s also very personable, so it was easy to have a conversation throughout the process. More importantly, she knows how to work with Asian hair and knows which styles would look good for Asian faces. (My last stylist butchered my hair and gave me a cut that was very harsh and unflattering for my face shape.) Needless to say, Mimi fixed the atrocity that was my original haircut.
Long story short, my hair looks amazing! I can’t stop staring at it. My fiancé loves it too. I can’t wait to strut around work with my new hair. Highly recommend going to Object Salon, specifically to see Mimi and have her work her magic. I will be going back for sure.

I went back to Mimi to dye my hair professionally for the first time. I asked her to do something subtle for my first time. Dying and cutting my hair took maybe 2 — 2 ½ hours. I really liked how it turned out and all the comments I got from my friends was that she did a really great job creating a natural look. She told me it should lighten over time so I was glad I did something only subtle. Maybe next time will be more drastic!
