The service was very friendly and helpful, but the positive experience ended there. We took away our meal to eat at home, just around the corner. The majority of the food was inedible and ended up in the trash. Except for the sweet shrimp, the fish did not taste fresh. The negihama hand roll(chopped yellowtail with green onion) was not chopped and featured a tough cut of the fish and a stringy stalk of green onion. Had we been at the restaurant, we would have sent all the food back. It really was terribly disappointing. And a waste of $ 90.

I have eaten here twice in the last 2 years while here on business, never had a bad roll or service, I highly recommend it, great prices, great service, the bathroom is less than desirable, but I don’t come here to rate the bathroom… Try it, you will like it is.

Came here for my anniversary with my gf, to be honest this place was good. The appetizer we ordered, potstickers, was delicious. Then we ordered the spider roll and soju roll. Both delicious. Over good

My favorite sushi place in Santa Monica. It’s a small sushi restaurant which I love because I feel it’s hidden and not overhyped. I come in for their lunch special every time I have a sushi craving. Always fresh and their customer service is always awesome!

So it’s not the most authentic(at all) sushi I’ve been to. Chefs and waitresses were all Thai, which is fine. The sushi rolls were OK, definitely innovative with mango or cream cheese or anything that you probably wouldn’t ever find in a sushi place in Tokyo. They had a great happy hour deal going on in between lunch and dinner service and beer was dirt cheap. It’s definitely not my go-to, but I don’t think it’s a bad choice!

I wouldn’t even give this place a star! I waited 2hrs for two rolls from them. They told me they were busy, then said the driver was on his way. Then they said«sorry we didn’t make any food for you» Completely unacceptable!!! DONOTORDERANYTHINGFROMHERE. ITIS A SCAM!!!

To be completely upfront — not authentic. BUT the rolls are pretty great for the price. We ordered a huge sashimi platter as well and in my honest opinion, save your money for a high quality focused sushi joint. Stick to rolls and whatnot here. We had the Tsunami Caliente which was good. Not spicy at all to me but i have a higher threshold than some. Overall i liked the flavors minus the carrot. Super California — california roll with avo and eel on top. This was my fave. The eel was cooked really well and complimented the roll. Maui maui — NOT my fave. The pineapple was really bizarre. We took it off and the roll tasted much better. It was chives in it too which was a bit bizarre but didnt bother me. We also has a Lazy Tiger(i think) and it had shrimp on top. All of the rolls were 6.99 under their 3−7pm happy hour. I believe its a daily deal as we went on a Saturday. Overall service was great and food was good for the price.

The best sushi I have ever had. Service is great. The miso soup is really good. They also have the best Thai iced tea. Love this place. But Seating is limited. 2 per table.

Not terrible, but certainly not great. We ordered for delivery, so perhaps some of the quality was lost in just that. The sashimi sampler did not taste very fresh– nor did the salmon in the roll. The seaweed salad was also a bit too gelatinous, as though it had been sitting out for a while. My guess is that with all of the great reviews on here, that I hopefully would’ve had a better experience by going to the actual restaurant– but I can say for certain that I will not be ordering delivery from here again.

A decent spot to get some food, without the the crowd of the promenade. It’s a little bit snug of a spot, especially if you go in with a stroller. Luckily we went in when it wasn’t too busy. Servers were friendly, food tasted decent. If you’re into a lot of creative rolls, it’s worth a shot.

Even though it’s not authentically Japanese, we enjoyed the sushi here. Bf and I rolled in here on a Friday afternoon. The servers were very genial and attentive. We had the baked mussels(7 pieces) and a roll that was artistically designed as a butterfly. Prices were reasonable. Service was prompt.
