Well Known Doctor in Santa Monica. He is a no nonsense Doctor. Very Helpful Doctor. Works for Hospital. Has no office and he is what is known as hospitalist. My father was in the hospital in and out for past several months. He calls back within minutes. concerned and passionate physician

I just called Dr. Toiserkani, who is covering for my regular doctor. Dr. Toiserkani called me back within moments of my leaving the message, and was helpful and kind. Thank you Dr. Toiserkani.

I am not a patiient of Dr. Toiserkani. He was, however, the doctor covering for my internist a few weeks ago when I was on vacation out of state and realized on a Friday mid-​afternoon that I had forgotten one of my medications. I called him and explained the situation to his answering service. I told them that I had the number of the pharmacy in Nevada and just needed him to call to authorize my medication for 10 days. I was told they would contact him and if I did not hear back I should call again in 20 minutes. I called back about 30 minutes later and again gave my explanation and was again told that if I did not hear back in 20 minutes I should call again. On my third call, I told them that I was dying in the hopes that I would get a call back. I did not. On Saturday, I again called the number and a different doctor was covering. I explained the situation and the doctor called back within a few minutes and then called the pharmacy.
I wrote a letter to my doctor about what had occurred (they had also screwed up as I had spoken to them Friday morning and they said they would call, but did not and were closed in the afternoon) and sent a copy to Dr. Toiserkani. My doctor’s office called me and apologized and told me they had spoken to staff about it. I never received a call from Dr. Toiserkani’s office with an explanation or apology.
