I got the day’s special, a chicken meatball teriyaki on rice with veggies. $ 10.75 — came with an ice tea. The rice is incredible, meatballs tasty and crunchy, veggies fresh. Homemade Teriyaki sauce godly. And it feels awesome to have to hunt it down by going inside the building — it feels like a secret garden, and I am glad I found this spot!

If you’re looking for simple sandwiches or wraps(lunch or breakfast) done well in good sized portions, this is the place to go. Tucked away inside a nondescript commercial building is a gem of a mom & pop sandwich spot ran by some awesome peoples. My go to here is the Crispy Chicken Wrap — plentiful chicken, avocado, BL&T, and some mustard spread wrapped up in lightly toasted perfection. Everything is neatly organized so each bite has a just-right balance of texture and flavor, and takes you back to a simpler time. The opening of Mendocino Farms across the street has injected more life and variety into the sandwich scene in the locale, but every once awhile, it’s nice to get away from the heavy emphasis on artisanal farm-to-table and food + {abstract feels} and enjoy a well-crafted sandwich made by a nice mom + pop.

Easy to find if you look at the location before you get there, but you can’t see Lucy’s from the street. GREAT wraps here though. Not a typical lunch place. Perfect for a pick up order and group lunches.
