Guitar Salon International

I bought a guitar online from Guitar Salon International about 9 months ago, and the customer service has been exceptional throughout.
I live on the other side of the country, and unfortunately I wasn’t able to stop by the store in-​person, but they do have a great Youtube channel where they sample hundreds of guitars in similar conditions. I did quite a bit of listening over a few months to shape an idea of the sound I wanted, along the price range it would fall under, and finally sent them a message describing the guitar I’d like while using their Youtube videos as references.
I received a warm reply from JohnPaul, and he offered to send a sound sample of a guitar that fits my description the next day. After deciding that I wanted to try the guitar out, he had it shipped here overnight for a 48-​hour trial. I tried the guitar out along with my teacher and ensemble members, and we were impressed with its sound & felt that it was definitely worth the price.
The customer service I had received was extraordinary over the past 9 months. JohnPaul has been very patient, knowledgeable, and helpful with every concern I had. The store was also more accommodating than I would’ve expected, and if you’re unsure if the guitar you picked is right for you, they do have a 30-​day full exchange policy along with other options.
Given my experience, I would recommend this store to other people who are wary about shopping online for a classical guitar, but have limited options locally. Buying a musical instrument online is risky, but their Youtube channel is a great way to figure out what kind of sound you want, and they may put together an audio sample comparing a few of their guitars side-​by-​side to help you decide if you want one of those guitars sent out for a 48-​hour trial.

Came here a couple weeks ago with my dad. We didn’t know that appointments need to be made in advance and we just dropped by. The front door was locked but luckily a group of people happened to be leaving so we just waltzed ourselves in.
Even though we didn’t call in prior to our impromptu visit, John Paul received us and was very gracious and helpful. My dad tried out quite a selection of Romero 1As, ranging from 1966 to 2008. I personally don’t play the guitar myself, but my dad has played for ages and I know he had an absolutely great time.
Let me say, the place is NICE and their selection is huge. We did not end up making a purchase this time around but will be visiting again in the future. I’d definitely recommend it for any guitar enthusiast.

Visited GSI today for the first time. Had a wonderful experience. Hugo Castaneda’s customer service was superb and very professional. His willingness to help went above and beyond my expectation. Looking forward to future purchases.
