I got so sick of seeing the annoying, incessant commercials I thought I’d check it out. What I found was a 10,602-word, 26 page of unbelievable terms and conditions(copied and pasted into Word’s word counter) that read more like a mortgage contract or a contract for surgery. Not only are their razors, in the end, more expensive than regular razors, you could get socked with unwanted charges through their automated billing. Seriously, what are these people thinking? Re-inventing the razor? I’ve never seen a decent razor over $ 8 at the store and NEVER have I see ANY type of razor in a case that make it sound like you’re going to «lose your shirt» by buying a simple personal care product. Additionally, what makes these people think that I use a razor once or twice and then need another one? I use a disposable razor up to three months and disposable blades every four months, so their accusations that«razors cost too much» is insane. On average, I buy one pack of disposable razors per YEAR that costs about $ 7.00(Schick Xtreme-3), and these work just fine — all without a contract or automated billing. These guys are totally out of their minds. Is there no end to the stupid things they come up with to sell on TV these days. They make you sound«intelligent» and«elite» because you belong to a shaving club. The true ripoff is buying into this club. What’s next, toothbrushes? Floss? Mouthwash? Shampoo? Deodorant? I can just hear it now: «Are you tired of the high cost of toilet paper? Then you need toiletpaperclub dot com, where we will ship you new rolls every month, right to your doorstep! But wait! There’s more! If you order now, we’ll…»(fade out)… Now, if we were to compare the price of a good electric razor to , then I could see how you could save a few bucks. Especially when a good electric razor costs at least $ 60. But, how often do you need a razor again?
