This store is pretty amazing if you love bargain shoes! It is very big, and a nice size area for men’s shoes(upstairs). My boyfriend has gotten a few pairs of dress shoes here for a great price and people compliment them always. I have found a few good pairs of shoes here. I haven’t had a need for an employee’s help, so I can’t really comment on that. But we went here last night 5 minutes before they closed, and they didn’t turn us away, or Rush us. They were really nice about it. This is a good place to find name brand shoes/boots like Steve Madden and cheaper brand shoes that are cute. A lot of shoes, a huge selection, the store is well kept, and organized.

I love DB Shoes. But this particular location has the WORST customer service! I mean awful! Also, if you shop here be sure to look at your bank account after you purchase. A few days after I shopped there and spend almost $ 150 holiday shopping, I noticed that they charged my card twice! $ 300 dollars! that was only after they took my cash saying the card didn’t work. Crooks!

I wouldn’t recommend shopping here. After putting on a pair of shoes 1 day post purchase only to realize they were extremely uncomfortable, I proceeded to return them. The return was a headache in itself… I had to beg for them to take the shoes back. I was told I would see my money returned in three to five business days(typical, I’m totally fine with that!) It has now been three weeks since my return and I have still not received my money. Not only that but when I call the store they refuse to give me any information whatsoever and tell me they will«call me back.» Now I am forced to return to this store for a THIRD time. Extremely poor business practice and very inconvenient.

Bought a pair of New Balance running shoes for 50% less than what I would have paid elsewhere! One problem… when I got home I noticed the stitching was ripped. When I returned them to the store the sales associate was very courtous and helpful and I had no problem exchanging my shoes for another pair!

Stumbled across this shoe store while cruising the Promenade. Didn’t see anything for me per se, but I went nuts over the little girl shoes way way way in the back. Needed a pair for a little flower girl in our wedding who wanted shoes like mine. Found em! She adored them and looked way to cute. Great prices.

Unsure why this store has low ratings, for I haven’t read any reviews. The only thing I can think of are your traditional California customer service reps who aren’t jovial at the registers. I’ve bought three separate pairs of shoes here from ‘never heard of brand’ to Puma to New Balance, and all for ridiculously cheap. And the brand names have lasted me. My suede Puma’s were $ 45 and my training New Balance’s were $ 35. I have even bought cheap luggage here. Everything is marked 30−70% off, no gimmicks. There isn’t one item not on sale. Best shoe warehouse ever with every brand name sneaker you can think of.

A lot of the Unilocal reviews complain about the quality of the shoes, and that I can relate to for the most part but I have purchased A LOT of shoes from here(mostly flats and sandals though) and have loved every pair. For the price of $ 10 – 15, it is much worth it. I do not expect top have these shoes still be in mint condition in a year from now, but for the present wear, it does it’s job and the selection is huge. I’ve been here plenty of times and they always seem to be having a sale. I’ve accepted the sale prices to now be regular price. It’s conveniently located on at the 3rd Street Promenade. Only Visa and MasterCard accepted. No AMEX accepted!

Very very bad customer service! I just bought a pair of shoes and after two times wearing the shoes exactly 1 week after buying it, the bottom part was ripping up. I told the store that this is not normal and the manager said that it is the style of the shoes that does that. Apparently buying shoes at DB shoes after one week is meant to break — that is the DB style!!! Horrible shoes I say! I will never ever buy shoes again at DB shoes and would not recommend it to anyone!!! If I was allowed I would give zero stars!!!

It’s like DSW, except all they sell is crap. Hardly any reputable brands, and hardly any shoes made out of actual leather. Just lots of PVC, fabric, and sparkly junk. Not even worth a peek in the window, really.

In front of a bunch of customers the manager confronted me and accused me of opening a pair of socks and demanded I pay for them. I didn’t touch any socks, and for her to disrespect me loudly In front of other customers is completely unacceptable. This place is trash, and the Hispanic manager is the trashwoman!
