FYI for the reviewer Alex they cannot by «Law» require a minimun payment the owner refused my purchase on my debit card after I verified with BOA as well as Visa that the store is not allowed to do this. Bank of America and I even called her on a 3 way call to verify this to her. Even the BBB has it stated on their site that a store cannot charge a minimum purchase on a credit card. I don’t know why people think because they own a business they are above the law it baffles me everytime. And if I have to hear from a business say that we charge a minimum because our credit cards fees are too high I am really going to lose it why is that the consumers problem.

This is my corner market, and If you’re looking for bottled water, cigarettes or lotto tickets, the Convenient Market does the job. However for those times when you’re actually in the need of a… convenient market, it falls short. Some items I’m used to 7-Eleven stocking for use in a pinch are absent: Eggs, a lime, coke zero, maybe a loaf of bread… don’t expect to find them here. In fact, most of the center of the store is rather sparse, and the items that are on the shelves are suspiciously dusty. Also, for a place called the Convenient Market, it would be really convenient if they stayed open past 8pm, but sadly this isn’t the case. They also have an arbitrary $ 5 minimum to use your card, which I think is a stupid policy in this era of micropayments. +1 star for stocking Djarum cloves, however. Update Oct ’08: Convenient Market is still not so convenient, and really comes through with the inconsistent hours. Closed Sunday? What the hell? And no milk? I’m beginning to think 2 stars is generous.
