Don’t know where to start. The A.H.C. is amazing. Insanely amazing. A teen friendly music space that oozes creativity and positivity. Bands can bring it. Crowds chill, then rock out. The staff is polite and helpful. The energy is purely positive. There are so few places in LA where kids can hang out in a chill environment and faces can be melted. It’s like a club house, an art gallery, a print shop, a music venue and a scene all rolled up into one. And the staff is polite and helpful. Holden Caulfield wouldn’t have been so f’d up if he had the Almost Holden Collective to go to. THANKS for a great night… THE LIVING STRANGE

Absolutely great place. Excellent art exhibitions, excellent shows and the nicest and most approachable owners you’ll ever meet. If you haven’t given ahc a visit yet I highly suggest you not waste anymore time!

This places ROCKS it …

the crowd’s an attention-​getter, driving down Ocean Park Boulevard. early on a Saturday night, it’s always there, that crowd. and if you slow down, which i don’t recommend on a 30 mph thoroughfare, you’ll see it’s like an art gallery. Almost Holden Collection. they call it a «multimedia creative collective» because they work with many forms of art. dig that logo.
it’s small, but always good for a gander. tonight was music, probably still is. some indie bands. Arjuna Genome was pretty good. there’s usually a nominal cover. tonight it was $ 5, well spent. ask what services they offer artists. get on their list so you don’t regret missing something you love.

there are several restaurants within walking distance. you can make an old-​fashioned night of it. Grab a burger at the Counter, get some Menchies or Starbucks, then meander over to the AHC – all on foot.
or, if local’s the theme of the night, start with Il Forno Trattoria or Miyako, then grab something yummy at Novel Café or Bubble Boba before the action starts.
whatever you prefer, it’s worth a look one of these Saturday nights.

Boo Boo and I had the honor to perform at Almost Holden Collective for the closing of their summer «Playcation Exhibit.» It’s a welcoming space and unlike any other gallery in the area: a multimedia venue with a sophisticated sound system and BYOB mentality.
We met an amazing team of people – some working directly with the gallery and others guilty by association. Everyone helped in making our performance a spectacle using projections, draped velvet curtains, wigs, video camera…(they have many props).
INTIMATCHINE hopes to continue working with them, whether it be to curate shows, record a ballad, or to commission them to screen print our band t-​shirts. The guys behind this place are multi-​talented and we plan to support them until the day we die.

What East SaMo has needed for a while.
Finally dropped by today on my lunch break. I was able to catch the tail end of the Cuba multimedia exhibit they will be ending on Sunday ⁵⁄₁₉. Pretty cool work. I liked the candid black and white photos. They dope T shirts there too.
I was talking to the guys and they said you can purchase art and T shirts, pay them to screen T shirts for you, record music and burn DVDs of your work on a mass scale. Sounds pretty damn good to me.
Don’t half step. Come here and support the local art/​creative movement.

These guys are a real up and coming company. I have had some multimedia work done by them prior to them opening their gallery and all of their work has not only been absolutely superb but the pricing they offered it at was MORE than fair. Seeing their gallery opening recently brought me pure joy as it is always heartwarming to see small guys like this prosper and hopefully one day become a very successful company. Highly recommend checking them out for yourselves.

I recently gained interest in photography, thus having alot of questions about what cameras are best, styles of photography, etc… I went to the AHC and asked one of their reps, Behrad, a few questions. Immediately he amazed me with his vast knowledge of the subject. He was very well informed on the current DSLR cameras and highly recommended the Canon EOS T2i and I gotta say I am very impressed with the quality of this camera. Definitely the AHC is the place to visit. It has a beautiful studio/​gallery where I can put up my work. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. A MUST VISIT!
