Never been there and was looking forward. I «won a prize» at a local event, and was so excited. I gave an extra star b/c it hadn’t occurred to me that a drawing«prize» would have an unreasonably quick expiration date(if one at all.) My bad. I had been out of town, on emergency, and just picked up the envelope. EXPIRED in mid-December when I «won» the certificate in late August. Really? I called, thinking they would make an exception or at least feel badly. HA! Another thing that hadn’t occurred to me — a store with a cute name doesn’t always mean cute customer service. So my loss — but theirs too. I wouldn’t have bothered with any review at all if the man on the phone had been just a little warmer. Word to the wise — if you’re going to «donate» a gift certificate, then don’t include an immediate expiration date and THEN let the potential customer know that it was part of a «promo» that ended. Tacky.

Love this store! I finally walked in after noticing for awhile. They have great stuff. It’s a good place to get gifts.

I had some home projects I was just too lazy to do myself, and a local store suggested that I bring them to Acapillow. I brought in fabric for 2 blankets/throws and a duvet cover. I could not be happier with the end results. I’m really picky and specific and Eleanor was able to meet my needs perfectly. And she was fast! I haven’t bought any of the ready made things they have, but a lot of really cute home goods caught my eye. I definitely plan to go back!

I’ve driven by this cute shop many times on my way to TJs and always wondered about it. Having suddenly become overwhelmed by an urge to decorate my barren apartment, I stopped in the other day and am positive that I will be returning. I’m not sure how long it’s been open but I hope to spread the word about how cool it is because I imagine it suffers a bit due to its odd location on a pretty dead part of Pico that’s not great for foot traffic. I totally loved the look and feel they were going for in this store the second I walked in. I loved the 70s rock playing, the nice man who welcomed me, the piles of luxurious fabrics stacked up everywhere… everything. I can tell the owners of this place really know what they’re doing in terms of interior design but seem to have a sense of humor too, judging from the cute soaps, vintage aprons and even the scary clown painting I spotted in the back corner. I spent quite a while digging through the vintage silk scarves piled high in a bowl for $ 14 each. They were all so beautiful I couldn’t choose one that day but plan to return to choose one or more to frame and hang on my walls. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because I found the prices to be a bit high. I understand there’s a premium to be paid when shopping at a home furnishing store that’s curated with care and personal attention and that I can’t expect Ikea prices, but a small sale or clearance section might be nice to dig through. As is, though, the place is like one big funky stylish treasure chest and I can’t wait to return to see what I can pick out for myself or someone else when I’m looking for a unique gift!

Very eclectic, neat furnishings — NOT your run of the mill pottery barn experience, but lots of neat textiles and accessories(I like the abacuses). The perfect place to get a present(and, just down the street from McCabes).
