Burritos and tacos were yummy, I don’t recommend the shrimp cocktail tho it wasn’t made to perfection and didn’t taste fresh instead of Clamato they used ketchup and orange soda not very pleasant for me. Also be very specific of what you order or else they will send you home with the wrong thing, also felt they weren’t all about the costumer being right.

When I went in the owner recommend me the chimichanga which is their best seller. Tried it l, was very disappointed with the taste, texture, and the whole experience

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Not only are they VERY rude. If they mess up on your order they will make you pay AGAIN to get the correct item that you ordered in the 1^st place!!! NASTY, DIRTY AND RUDE!!!

They have excellent food, huge burritos and very good service. Prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place.

The food was decent, BUT when I finish my ice tea that I took to go I refilled my cup with a bottle of water and I found and ant, a mosquito and dirt in my cup. Not sure if I came from the tea or the ice but it was bad. I called the place to let them know about it an the manager treated me as if I was lying or making stuff up. I told him I was not calling to get anything but just to let him know, so he can check his soda machine.

First time in. The food was amazing and the service was great. The burrito I ordered was so big that I have dinner for the next three nights. The place is clean and inviting. Everything made fresh so call ahead if you are in a hurry, but it’s definitely worth the wait if you have time for good preparation. Can’t wait to go back!

Was a bit shocked to hear that I couldn’t have one of the ingredients that came in my burrito on the side, unless I paid the extra for it to be a side. Why?!
However, I was pleasantly surprised when my plate was brought out… This burrito was HUGE!!!
The food was good, the salsa and chips were tasty and overall it’s a decent place. Not overly exciting, but fair enough for the price.

Four stars for the price. I found this place this week while taking a class in the area and would up eating there three days in a row. I was shocked to see the negative reviews when I logged in to support the place, I thought I had found a local favorite. Here is my experience: really nice staff, always friendly and knew what they were doing — which generally was taking a taco and beer order. Pretty simple stuff, but they did it happily and brought the beer and chips out to you rather than fling it across the counter. Food was cheap and good. Is there better? Sure, but not for under $ 2 a taco. Good selection of mexican beers — again not that hard. The salsa bar was always stocked and you can take as much as you want. Like I said, three days in a week with, I might add, different gals working the counter each time so it wasn’t just that I caught a «good» day.

So, I have not eaten here since my last review…10/23/2012. At 1:00 AM (morning) This morning, 3÷24÷2014, I get 2 private messages from the owner THREATENING me… Nice huh? Be very clear that I did my research on who wrote me the message… Oscar L. And has only written 1 review… I’m thinking that first thing in the morning, I will be printing off the message and taking it the the sheriff dept… Have a nice night!

I should have known this was going to be a bad experience by the cheap taco sign that one of their employees walks around town with trying to entice you with cheap tacos, but I gave it a try anyway.
Went in there on a Friday around 3:00 and there was one other table with customers in there. I ordered my food and waited. I ate one chip with their salsa and almost gagged. It tasted like someone dumped and whole bottle of oregano into it. WTF. Then I waited some more. Then I finished the beer that I ordered. Then I waited some more. I finally got the shrimp cocktail that I ordered after a total of 30 minutes and during this time there were no other customers that came in.
The server never even said «Sorry for the wait» so I assume this is how it normally goes.
Shrimp cocktail barely had any shrimp and it tasted like ketchup mixed with water.
STAY AWAY — Too many good Mexican restaurants in this town.

If I could give no stars I would but can’t. I meet my husband there and he ordered shrimp cocktail. 20 minutes later he’s still waiting for it. There was one other table with a family of four and him in the restaurant. A young man came in an order tacos and he got them before my husband’s food. When the cocktail came out there was 6 shrimps in a large cup with nothing but water down tomato water! For $ 10+ there should be at least 10, at least $ 1 a piece! And the packaged crackers they served were stale!
Bottom line: if you want to wait a long time for your food, get ¼ cup of shrimp cocktail for $ 10 bucks, then this is the place for you!

I’m giving an extra star because the service was really good.
The food however was just okay. I ordered posole. It had a really good flavor, but instead of good chunks of pork, it was mostly a bowl full of greasy pig skin. Which I couldn’t eat. I’ve never had that in posole before. So about half the bowl was on the plate next to me. My daughter ordered menudo which she said was good. My son got the bean and cheese burrito which wasn’t wrapped very tight. Half of it went onto his shirt after one bite. Salsa lacked flavor, chips were just ok.
I only went here because my son had a haircut appointment and the barber was running a bit behind. Don’t think I’ll be back. There are way too many good Mexican restaurants in Santa Maria to waste time on a bad one.
