First off, their office has moved to 1409 Luisa, in the building across from the cat hospital.
I came in this morning since my glasses had broken overnight and I’m in town visiting mom.
Lynn was very helpful and fixed them in a short time. I offered to pay, but she demurred.
I was very impressed with the office staff, their helpful attitude, and the office overall looked very professional and gave excellent customer service.
If I ever have another eyeglass emergency, I will definitely come here. I recommend them highly.

My family has been going to Dr Tachau for years. He’s great, and always takes the time to explain his diagnosis (we’re all fine, thanks for asking) and answer our questions. The office is efficient — we’re never waiting too long — and the eyeglass side of the house is very efficient too. One thing I like about the eyeglass people is they never force the expensive brand frames — they’ve got them, but if you want basic reader frames that’s what you get.
