This mall is so depressing. I came here just because it was next to the hotel where I’m staying. I came here at 5pm and again right before closing. It was empty both times. I was expecting tumbleweeds to start rolling past us. The only reason I gave this mall 2 stars is because the employees at Footaction stayed open a few more minutes while I ran and got my card. They were so desperate for sales, I actually felt really bad for them. Santa Fe is the capital of this state and this is the best they can do?

I’m not a mall person at all, but occasionally have to venture into one to grab the odd item. This is perhaps the crappiest, most depressing mall I’ve ever been to. The hallways are absolutely vacant, it feels like something out of a horror movie. The food court area has a couple of quiet, sad-looking fast food joints without customers. It’s so bad that the tables have been removed and replaces with a couple of large merry-go-rounds, that no one rides. The anchor stores are Sears, JC Pennys, and Dillards; if those brands aren’t enough to scare you away, the interiors of the stores will — none appear to have been updated since 1986. The sears is literally falling apart, in the fitting rooms pretty much anything that could be broken is broken, including the slats in the door so you can see right through and watch people as they try on clothes.

Ghost Town… especially with the new addition of the SPIRITHALLOWEENSTORE. At least you can go here to buy all your Halloween necessities without a wait!
