So Fun. What a great afternoon well spent. This brewery is a little out of town, but worth the drive. The beer selection was plentiful and it was an added perk that they had a ping pong table and foosball table to play on while we enjoyed our brews. Dogs welcome! Kinda a smaller tasting building, it wouldn’t be a good choice for a lot of friends to have a party or anything, just perfect for a date with your loved one!

Great environment and friendly staff. So much selections so i got myself a flight. I also got an awesome growler($ 50). A little pricey for me, but they said that it was double lined and I didn’t want to bring back a glass growler in the plane. I had a hard time to pick what to fill it with, Santa Fe Gold, Hef, Happy Camper IPA, or Oktoberfest. Those were all good, but I went with the Oktoberfest since it was seasonal. Now I have a week to finish my growler before my flight. I wish I have more time to go back.

c: These individuals are incompetent. We ordered a keg for a Hollywood film event a month ago, only to find that they brought out three cylinders after they admitted they sold ours. They also told us to go [explicit content] get the tap down the street. We chose Santa Fe for our film. We are very disappointed at the local community treatment. We hope that the local community isn’t treated this way. Thank you and have a lovely day…

Don’t waste your time, service is non existent. Wait staff looks at you as if you’re invisible. We waited for over 15 minutes and saw the slouchy bartender pour 1 beer. We walked out and will never return. Just a bunch of pinche pendejos

We had their seasonal Oktoberfest and the Happy Camper IPA both o which hit the spot. Also tried one of their seasonal sours and gonna take some home. What a friendly place and laid back attitude. It was our first place to try here in Santa Fe and if the rest are even close then we are in for a great weekend! Go upstairs and play some table tennis or foozeball

Great beer, super easy atmosphere, and kind staff. I only wish there were always awesome food trucks outside it!(That has nothing to do with the brewery.)

Great beer and a good atmosphere. We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was too windy outside so we played ping pong upstairs by ourselves. We shared a big sampler tray, and then each ended up with some pints. Took home a growler of the State Pen Porter because it might be the best Porter we’ve ever had. Overall great.

Great beers on tap. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Brewers came out to chat. Wide selection on tap ranging in ABV from 4% to 10% so pay attention! Go there if you can. The detour off Route 14 is short.

As homebrewers, my husband and I love to explore local breweries(we’re also full-time RVers, so we try a lot!). I’d had several Santa Fe Brewing brews at restaurants and was looking forward to visiting the brewery. As expected, it was awesome. Used my Unilocal deal($ 10 for $ 5), so my, very generous, flight only cost $ 5 for 124-oz pours. It’s a busy place with lots of outdoor seating and a great upstairs porch for enjoying the beer, the sun, and people watching.

This is more of a 3.75 star. Good beers. Not too many. A little out of the city of Santa Fe. Cool games to play and nice environment!

Stopped in for beer on our way to Santa Fe. Decent atmosphere, there are some outdoor seating options(and cornhole!). I believe there’s also an unstairs sitting area as well but I personally didn’t check it out.

Good beer, but in a quaint place in the middle of nowhere. A little small.

Years ago we saw the sign off the highway and stopped in to the tap room, now it’s on our must do list every time we are in Santa Fe for the day or for the week. The pints are cold and good and the service is fantastic. If the southwest has a place like the tv show«Cheers» this would be it. There’s the regulars we see every time we visit and the faces we’ve just met, yet everyone’s nice and glad to meet you. Stop in and have a pint, you’ll be glad you did!

Great little tap room! We got a sampler flight…10 two-ounce pours for $ 10. Got to try most of what was on tap, and a choice of some of the rotating options. Nice outdoor seating both upstairs on the deck and downstairs. Game room. Dogs welcome. Corn hole. Can bring your own food to supplement the beer!

Amazing place, amazing people, amazing establishment. Run, do not walk, to this brewery — well, drive, but you know what I mean. My boyfriend and I stepped foot in New Mexico for the first time, and our first stop was Santa Fe Brewing Company. Within minutes we were chatting with the bartender in the tasting room & sampling beers(I loved the Java Stout and Happy Camper IPA). The brewery is unpretentious and welcoming, and the service was impeccable. The beer was affordable, and there are pool tables upstairs. By the end of our outing I had compiled a whole handwritten list of the best local places to go and things to do around Santa Fe from staff suggestions. We stopped at a bunch of other breweries on our trip, but none of them compared to the service and quality of Santa Fe Brewing Company. I have never felt so at home in a local business, and I cannot wait to go back next time I’m in Santa Fe!

Having seen and tried a few of the SF brews around town we took the short trip to the outskirts of town to check out the brewery and do some day drinking. Tours seem to be only on Saturdays, so we missed out there. While I enjoy hearing about the brewing process and taking a tour with what are usually colorful characters, we were content to drink. We got the taster sampler of their tap brews: 104oz pours for $ 8! We took our flight out to the top floor patio and got some sun. The space in the taproom is really cool and their are foosball and ping pong tables in the loft upstairs. As for the beers, they were a bit hit or miss for us. Certainly the price is right and I like that their brewers try a few different combos of flavors and hops. Some just didn’t work for me. I found the Hefeweizen and Dirty Blonde disappointing. The IPA, American Pale ale and the Porter were best of show in my book. Cheers!

I grew up in Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico and often heard about this place, about shows here, and never knew back then that a local, homegrown establishment was leading the charge to bring good craft beer to America’s homes. For 25 years — their anniversary party was 6÷29−−− these guys have been offering good beer and I was shamefully oblivious to this for at least 18 – 20. That’s appalling. Do yourself the favor and find out about this place. Pay a visit. Drink the beer. I can’t vouch for the food because I didn’t eat any, but remember first and foremost this is a brewing company. Appreciate the beer. Here’s my rundown of the beers I really enjoy: Imperial Java Stout– The java in the name is your clue. This thing pours dark as night and could easily be confused for a cup of coffee. But it’s smooth, has a great mouthfeel and can even be drank on a hot summer day. Happy Camper IPA– Again, a smooth and drinkable beer. This beer is more malty than hoppy on the nose, but the hops come through on the tongue. It’s a fine balance of malts and hops. A great BBQ beer. Freestyle Pilsner– Clean, crisp, exactly how the European forebears have been doing it for ages. Another summer beer or for when you’re too full for a big beer. Saison 88– A brand new beer that debuted at the anniversary party. This is a great summer drink as well. Wheaty, fruity, with hints of wine or grapes, this had a good complexity to it. Chicken Killer– A barleywine, this one is less hoppy than most I’ve encountered recently. There are certainly wine-like elements to this beer, though this comes from the prune, plum, raisin hints on the tongue. Kickin Chicken– This beer I like, although it will throw off many. It’s a barrel-aged version of the Chicken Killer, so in theory it’s a barleywine, but it took on some major sour characteristics. If you like sours, you’ll like this. There are a number of other beers on tap like the Brown, the Pale Ale, and the State Pen Porter that I’ve enjoyed in the past but can’t remember well enough to comment on. Bottom line, the beer here is good. As for the venue, it’s very different from other breweries in New Mexico. The tap room is small, but the outdoor patio and the second floor patio are unique. Oh, and the $ 4 pours are a steal!
