Good vegan food, friendly employees, nice atmosphere and they have wifi. The lasagna was good but it’s not clearly noted on the menu or advised when you order that it’s a cold/raw dish. Definitely disappointing to expect a hot, baked dish and then get a less filling cold one. The desserts look good but are priced about 40% above where I’d expect. $ 8.50 for a slice of cake. With tax and tip you’re talking $ 11 which is(excuse the pun) a bit tough to swallow.

The presentation of the food was excellent, Taylor did setup a burger like a Jenga, it was so pretty, the waitress had to come nudge me to eat it anyway. Taylor was the one the artist that crafted my plate, it looked so beautiful.

This is our FAVORITE raw organic food restaurant in Santa Fe. The owners Wendy, Andrea, and Pam are amazing ladies. Today, was a one day visit as we are passing through Santa Fe. Last September we were here for a month and I just noticed I didn’t send an updated review. Last year’s review… we had the soup, yellow split pea, coconut yogurt, wilted spinach. I had the raw tostada– red chile tostada, cabbage slaw, avocado, cacao mole(AMAZING), cashew sour cream and poco de gallo. My husbands raw Ruben was excellent. Last week we did their cheese plate and Kale salad. They also have the best raw desserts. Did I mention cold press juices and vegan smoothies. You do not have to be vegan to love this place.

Absolutely amazing food. The kimchi dumplings are to die for, the cheese plate a perfect balance of rich, complex yet simple flavors, and the desserts like heaven in your mouth.

Loved this little vegan gem. I took at least 10 minutes to decide what I wanted because everything sounded incredible! All vegan except some things do have honey. Some raw, some non raw options. I decided on the tostada and am so happy I did! Raw and delicious. Beautifully plated. Know that the prices are up there but in line for being so healthy/fresh. Also had the chocolate chip ice cream which was amazing and home made! Love it.

Worst service ever. Couldn’t find the place and when I called to ask where Rasa was located in the shopping plaza, the barista all but hung up one me because she said she was too busy. When I found it and went in to order a smoothie to go she ignored me for 10 minutes. After getting her attention she told me I’d have to wait, indicating again that she was busy. I will not be voting this place Best of Santa Fe as I was invited to do on FB. Good smoothie but the attitude makes me never want to return.

As someone who has nearly built a career out of finding, dining at, and sharing about exclusively at vegan establishments throughout the US I was incredibly, incredibly(see: incredibly) impressed with the quality of food at Rasa. It’s clear that the chef(s) here are not only skilled in flavor diversity of food, but they’ve also nailed impressive plating, a warm and inviting energy, and friendly customer relationship management. From one foodie to another: Get the kimchi dumplings, the cauliflower mac ‘n’ cheese, AND any of their house made ice creams! This is the best vegan food I’ve had in *quite* some time. Well done, Rasa!

First things first… I am a total food snob. I write cookbooks and am a celeb chef. So my standards are stupid high. And yet this is now one of my favorite restaurants not only in Santa Fe, but in the US. Very few places understand how to make food both flavorful and also super healthy. Rasa has this nailed. It’s also insanely gorgeous(as far as presentation) and the service has been wonderful every time I’ve gone. It’s so hard to pick favorites, but I’d definitely recommend the fig bars and ice cream for dessert, as well as the chocolate ganache. The mac and cheese plate was on point as well, and we loved the burger. Please ignore any negative reviews — some people are impossible to please. This place deserves the highest rating!

This is my favorite restaurant in New Mexico. Yes, You read that right. All the meals, juices, smoothies, coffees and desserts are all vegan. Real vegan. Some are raw, but they also have some cooked items, like soups. They offer gluten free. You’ll find everything is fresh and organic. They make everything from scratch, including their RASA Vibrant Smoothie Mix, which is blend of about 20 ingredients, including grains, minerals, spices and juices. All of their dishes are artfully presented. One of my favorite dishes is their Tostada. They start with a red chile tortilla, topping it off with avocado, cabbage slaw, cacao mole, cashew«sour cream,» pico de gallo, fresh field green, tomatoes, jalapeños, and dried onions, the latter which are reminiscent of stripped potato chips. Their Cheese Plate is house-made cultured tree nut cheeses, smoked cashew cream, veggie hummus, tomato chutney, and house-made crackers and breads(i.e., flax, zucchini, chia). Their sour cream is made from cashews, and it is to die for. So is their cacao mole, not to mention the entire menu. Their smoothies are all ultra healthy. They know you don’t have to add sugar to make them delicious. They are just the right amount of carbs, fat and protein that you can drink one before working out. Just enough, not too much. They make coffees, which don’t have coffee in them, and they taste great. Even my more conventional friend enjoyed their Adaptogen Latte, which they create to taste like a conventional coffee latte. They also have real coffee, which Caveman Coffee out of Albuquerque. Caveman also make an MCT oil and offered here. So many times, I’ll discover a new vegan restaurant, and it turns out to heavily feature soy-based imitations of what many are giving up, and it’s such a disappointment. That’s one more reason why RASA stands out as excellent. They make everything from scratch right there at the restaurant. They have been open seven years. One thing they do, which I wish they didn’t, is use agave nectar in some of their concoctions. It is just as high in sugar content as refined sugar. BUT, you know what? I’m still giving RASA five stars, because they exceed expectations far above the rest. They save their compost for patrons who want it. Plus, when you take drinks to go, they put in in reusable mason jars with a dollar deposit to encourage you to bring them back. RASA is walking the walk. I really wish they were open later than 5 p.m. most days, but, again, they still get my five stars. They deserve more, like 10. Like I said before, they literally make everything from scratch, and their are only three of them. We desperately need the RASA owners to open a second location in Albuquerque, because we don’t have anything close to this right now.

This place is pure love! I come here regularly and enjoy trying new things or repeating my favorites. The food is clean and made fresh daily, the presentation of each dish so beautiful! The staff are kind and capable, artisans in their field! I appreciate how patient and calm the staff are, seems like they dive into a zone to create each order. Nothing frantic or stressful about the vibe. Even if I’m just in there to pick up something to go, I always leave calmer and happier. Favorite items: Vibrant Green Smoothie, Kimchee Dumplings, anything from their dessert repertoire. I picked up a lovely chocolate ganache cake today that will be the hit of Thanksgiving dinner! Thanks to all who make this place run: Wendy, Pam, Andrea and Richard!

Food was good, but service was HORRIBLE. I went with my boyfriend, and they brought out his food about 15 minutes before they brought out mine. He was almost done when I finally got mine. Since we were sitting right by the kitchen, I could see when mine was finally done. But did they bring it over? No. Some woman there — the owner I am assuming — had to make me wait so she could take a picture of it first. So they brought mine out 15 minutes later than my boyfriend’s, then made me wait until the photo shoot was over before I could finally eat. While the food was good, the service was not, and I would not go back and will discourage others from patronizing an establishment where their customers don’t matter. Another thing I noticed was there was a kitchen person and a server type person, and both handled food with their bare hands. I watched the guy shake hands with someone, saw the girl put dirty dishes in the dishwasher, but never saw them wash their hands before they went back to handing food with their bare hands. So if you want bad service and contaminated food, this is the place to go.

Rasa is my favorite spot in Santa Fe for guilt free indulgences and for nutritious pick me ups. I dine at Rasa at least twice a week and always walk out feeling better than I did walking in. It’s beyond refreshing to know I’m feeding my body nutrient dense meals every time I’m here. The attention to detail on every platter is amazing and there is not one thing I haven’t loved on the menu. I simply love everything about this place.

I first came to rasa for their fresh juices. I love their Rooty Spike and Green Lemonade juices. They are delicious blends with great flavor. There is a dollar deposit on each jar that is refunded when you bring it back. They also offer cleanse packages. My first meal there was the kitcheree, which is a mung bean and rice porridge that is touted as good for digestive issues. I’ve been making this dish for many years, and my recipe calls for a lot of spice, so I was surprised to find this dish was without any spice at all. The owner explained that their kitcheree is made bland to assist those with stomach issues. I wouldn’t order it again, because I don’t like bland food, but I imagine that for those who it could benefit, it would be a needed dish. On my recent visit, I ordered the«Adaptogen Latte» made with raw almond milk, cacao, shilajit, ashwaganda, mucuna, honey, cinnamon and cardamon. This was a thin-bodied beverage that arrived warm. It had several ingredients that pooled at the bottom of my cup, so I kept stirring it before I drank so I wouldn’t end up with sludge at the bottom of my cup. I had a few globs of unsweetened chocolate as I drank. This drink needs some help. It’s too thin, not very flavorful and doesn’t stay blended. Then, I decided to try the lentil bowl. To my surprise, the lentils were refrigerator-cold, as was the rice. It was a cold, rainy day when I was there, and I ordered the lentils to have a hot dish. A woman, who I think may be the chef, came over to ask about my meal, when I told her I didn’t like my dish, she seemed to take it personally and walked away from me, saying nothing, which I thought was rude. Then Nancy,(who I think is an owner) came over and was very pleasant, and explained that most of their dishes are served warm due to enzymes used in the marinades they soak some of the food in. She removed the item from my bill. I think the specific approach that Rasa has to food should be well explained to the customer. It would be helpful if the menu specified warm dishes and the few that are served hot, as the owner indicated to me. I’m sure there is a large audience for this type of food~ Ayurvedic/Raw/Vegan Yogis will love it. Vegans will love it. It’s not for me, my stomach was upset from what I ate. But the rudeness of the woman who dismissed me left a stronger impression. Thankfully, the owner knows how to treat her customers, and I appreciated that. I will still buy juices at Rasa. If you’d like to try this restaurant, be sure to ask questions about what you are ordering so you know what you are going to get. This is food with a great deal of specificity going into the preparation of it. The space is very clean and modern. The countertop bar faces kitchen cupboards that give the feel you are in someones cozy kitchen as they prepare your food, that has a nice homey vibe to it. Also, I will say the food presentation at Rasa is very beautifully done.

Really refreshing, creative, unique and beautiful fresh foods. Delicious healthy juices and smoothies. Ice cream, yogurt etc that you won’t believe aren’t dairy. All really impressive. The space is limited but there are a few tables that could accommodate small groups. The location itself is tucked away off of Early St, so keep your eyes peeled for the signs for each little shopping/restaurant complex there as you pass. I had the kitchari, crunchy salad, and RASA matcha smoothie. I recommend all without hesitation. The complementary vegan coconut and algae cacao pieces were also unique and delicious. Looking forward to returning soon!

It’s amazing life changing food. I’m not a vegan, actually far from it and the food is fantastic. Everybody needs to go here! Have the Reuben. I promise that you won’t be disappointed. The cold pressed coffee is a must. Don’t think Rasa as a vegan restaurant rather, think of it as a superb restaurant that serves exquisite food that happens to be vegan.

My favorite place to eat in Santa Fe — every dish tastes exquisite and they look like art pieces. The staff is really friendly and the atmosphere is calm and welcoming. All the food is organic. $ 12 for a main course seems so reasonable to me. Try the ravioli or kimchi dumplings for an incredible taste sensation.

Believe or not, Rasa is the best restaurant in Santa Fe. It’s tiny … it’s got limited hours … it’s a bit off the beaten path, but it’s awesome and creative and simply sublime. Sure it’s mostly raw vegan, but forget that … it’s simply a must taste kind of place. Withhold your judgements about what vegan food is, open your mind and prepare yourself for a shockingly delicious treat.
