Mainland Carpet

We wanted to put new carpet in our home. ASAP because we were having new furniture move in. We wanted to use a local company and found this one. The carpet seemed reasonably priced and reasonable quality. We set up for someone to come get exact measurements for our home. He tells me I will get a call about installation time and dates today. I was also told that they may not be able to nail the base boards for the carpet down and may have to glue it because of how bad of a job the people who had the house before us did. Which would extended the process two days and cost more.
24 hours roll by I hear nothing. So I call and the lady tells me she isn’t sure of when someone will be available and will let me know tomorrow. 2 days pass and I hear nothing. So I call again. She said maybe later the next week she will have someone available. I felt like we were being pushed to the side because it was a small job of only 2 rooms since the rest of the houses and rooms are wood.
Eventually, we gave up cause we got no se dates and went with Home Depot who installed instantly and were able to nail the baseboards for no extra charge. I get a call the day before Home Depot was suppose to come from mainland carpet saying oh we can come install the carpet today in 2 hours. Uh? Thanks for the notice. Sorry a current job fell through so you needed to fill That spot.
