I was recommended here by a girlfriend who knew I was trying to get my body back after some trauma left me… well… broken. I absolutely adore Jill and she helped me find a Chiro/​naturopath as well as a somatic psychologist in the times we have worked together so far! I just love that my body feels so good and I love how amazing I feel after a Rolfing session!!! More than anything though, Jill feels like one of my besties. I just… light up!!! around her! Love that!!!

Not good… Had a 90 minute massage that I wanted to end within the first minute. I mentioned it nicely to the lady at checkout when I was leaving (she asked)… and no offer to discount or have me come back for another one. The guy was nice, but it was not relaxing or therapeutic.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to drop in for a massage on our short weekend relaxation trip to Santa Fe. I’m glad we picked High Desert. The place was just what we were looking for. It was very clean and comfy, with a lot of character. It is not at all like a pretentious, over priced spa — it is just a great, cozy place to drop in for some healthful and rejuvenating body work. Everyone was very nice and genuine. Both of our massages were among the best we’ve ever had, and the price was fair. We will definitely go back. If you want to spend all day at a super fancy place and pay an arm and a leg to get pampered by servants, you may want to look elsewhere. But if you just want a great massage from talented, friendly folks, go to High Desert.

I started seeing Jill Gerber last fall for a series of ten rolfing sessions. At the time I had very bad hip pain that inhibited my activities and disrupted my sleep. I did many things to mitigate the pain like choropractic and acupuncture. I even had an MRI. Some things helped for a while but the pain always returned and was getting progressively worse. With the structural integration body work that Jill has been doing I started feeling noticeably different after two or three visits. I’ve now completed the ten sessions, am virtually pain free and doing everything I love. When I run I feel like I’m floating. I no longer toss and turn throughout the night. The body work we’ve done has changed my life. I highly recommend Jill Gerber and her business, High Desert Healthcare.

I have been coming here for 20+ years and it is the quietest, kindest, best massage location in town. The therapists are all exceptional and caring. The office staff is respectful and kind. The tenor of the location itself is warm and welcoming. I would not be walking were it not for Catherine and her expertise. I HIGHLY recommend High Desert Healthcare to locals and visitors alike!

A co-​worker who lives in Santa Fe recommended this place and it was delightful. I was lucky enough to book a same day appointment. My therapist Diane truly listened to my needs then worked carefully on those areas. Prices and place are terrific. Best of all, place was a short walk from La Posada where I was staying.

I was in Santa Fe on vacation in late May and went to Jill Gerber for a rolfing treatment. I have had my 10 series but it’s been about 2 years since my last rolfing «tune up” — I had pain due to a hip injury and I went to see Jill and she is amazing! I After one tune up treatment, the pain was gone and I slept through the night without waking up in pain for the first time in 2 ½ years. Now after 6 weeks, I am still in much less pain from her one treatment than before i went to her. Thanks Jill — so glad I found High Desert and you through Unilocal

I have been a massage client for over 10 years and I cannot say enough good about High Desert. Their new location is a lovely old, high-​ceilinged adobe home with plenty of free parking onsite. The atmosphere is warm and serene and genuinely happy. The receptionist are gracious, friendly and helpful. Of course the best part is the treatment. I have been with Jill Gerber, one of the owners, all this time and I cannot imagine a more pleasurable, satisfying, health-​giving treatment. Jill has practiced for many years and also teaches. It is her calling –to heal people.

I don’t know if they still have the promo going on or not, but back when I went, if you checked in into the business with the Unilocal app in your phone, you received a complimentary 15 minute foot massage. However, if you choose to do this, you’ll lose any other discount that you could have opted for, like the birthday discount, which is what happened to me (it would have been nice of them to mention this before hand).

I was staying in town at the Inn on the Paseo and walked by this place and picked up a brochure. Later during my stay, I looked online at all the spa and massage options because my back, neck, shoulder were killing me and I didn’t feel like driving anywhere any more. I walked in on a Sunday morning and got an appointment with Cat for later that day. Had to be the best massage I’ve ever had at a very reasonable price. She really knows her stuff, is strong, and very responsive. I so wish I lived nearby so I could keep going back to her. Definitely recommend!

Really great massages. My wife and I were in Santa Fe to celebrate our anniversary and got two 90 minute massages. Truly gifted healers who preformed therapeutic bodywork, not just pro forma massage. Great value for a town that can be pretty high priced for spa massages

I had an hour and fifteen minute massage here and my wife had a lymph drainage treatment. The space is relaxing and the therapists friendly and professional. I would recommend High Desert to anyone coming to Santa Fe and looking for a nice massage at a fair price without the markup found at a hotel spa or Ten Thousand Waves.

So incredibly glad we found this adorable, relaxing, and humble place. We were looking to book 4 massages around the same time on a Saturday and didn’t want to waste money at some pretentious, overprice spa. We called High Desert and had a stroke of luck with 4 available appointments for 4 lucky ladies.
All of us were very well matched with our therapists. We told the receptionist what each of us were looking for and she paired us with someone she thought sounded appropriate based on their expertise. She did a great job, because my therapist hit all the right spots. Everyone had a different type of massage but the same feedback — that it was perfect.
We also checked-​in on Unilocal which brought up a 15 minute foot massage special! Unfortunately, they weren’t able to extend our appointments, so they gave us a discount on our massages. What a fabulous way to treat your clients! Would recommend this place again and again to anyone visiting Santa Fe.
