Floor Mart

They have some good deals on floor coverings and they are competent.
Angela had some good design ideas and was helpful.

I entered FloorMart on Cerrillos Rd. to buy new wood flooring for my house. I explained to Angela the salesgirl that many of the wood samples looked fine to me, but that the deciding factor was availability. I was scheduled to move in soon. She offered that they have a warehouse in ABQ, and everything was just 3 days away.
This was not true. The wood arrived in time for my installer to put it down on schedule, but the transitional pieces and stair nose pieces were late.
The manager was soothing and reassuring on the phone, but totally inept at locating the «back ordered» stair nose pieces.
This gang of folks was more interested in getting my credit card number and committing me to an item they had no way of getting, than finding some wood that was actually available.
Now I’m stuck with a house full of guests and stairway construction going on At the same time! (and for no real reason)
My installer reviewed my paperwork and calmly explained I paid about $ 800 too much for the materials, and that I should have driven to ABQ to make this purchase.
Sometimes convenient is actually The Wrong Solution.
