Very nice ambiance. Sat outside, very pleasant. Food was good. Had the Croque Madam. Others had spinach quiche and spaghetti bolognaise. Quiche could have been a little warmer. They ran out of glasses, plates, and ice. It was Father’s Day, so we cut them some slack. Overall, would return

Wife had the mussels — she liked them a lot — and the daughter totally INHALED the duck confit. Service was just fine. We enjoyed a pleasant, utterly peaceful mid-afternoon meal on the side patio. Priced was reasonable, also. The girls want to go back for sure before we leave SF.

My wife and I had brunch(the non brunch menu items are not available until 5), she had the spinach quiche and I had the eggs Benedict. Both were very good, and flavorful. The menu has a lot to choose from including sandwiches(after 5). The mocha latte I ordered was one of the best I’ve had. For desert we split a slice of pear tart and it was delicious. Not overly sweet. Our waitress was pleasant and helpful. An excellent eating experience. We are going to return and try their after 5 dinner menu.

Wife and I had a wonderful breakfast on a Saturday morning. The pastries look delicious but I ordered a crêpe with bacon and a cup of coffee. The food was excellent. There is plenty of seating in doors and out, but tables are close. Service was pretty good.

Very good! We started with a coffee and a pastry, later leaning the pastry chef is from France and just works there because he loves it, it shows. I had the oeufs florentine… very good, perfect portions and they were receptive to customize with the hollandaise on the side. We didn’t like that the crêpe was covered with cheese that melted to the plate… maybe just not our style. I want to go back and try a handful more of the pastries!

I was visiting from Los Angeles and we were actually abiding by the Unilocal top breakfast suggestion. It was closed due to an emergency and boy oh boy were we happy about that! They were very busy as it was the Saturday breakfast crowd and we were a party of 4 that wanted to sit outside, but the owner, Noella(Mamou is her mother!) greeted us with a huge delightful smile and asked us what we wanted and immediately set us up at a table under a tree to the side of the front of the restaurant, i.e., away from the other two main outdoor seating areas. We loved it and we got excellent service from our waiter and I think three other young guys who consistently magically appeared to fill our coffee and water glasses. The food was divine. I had the best Eggs Florentine which was served with perfect breakfast potatoes and a perfectly dressed salad that balanced the flavors on the plate perfectly. We also shared an order of french toast — freshest bread made it taste like homemade. Perfect amount of egg, great texture, and spice. Wonderfully delicious. The next day I didn’t have time to go to breakfast before leaving for the airport but someone in our group wanted a pain au chocolat so I want back to get pastries for everyone — croissants, almond croissants, chocolate croissants and a brioche for me. Everything was spectacular. As good as you will find in Paris. Truly. Noella was just as delightful, friendly, welcoming, and funny on this second visit. I am certain to return when I am there next. Can’t more highly recommend and hope that anyone reading this who goes will be motivated to post a review as it deserves a higher ranking!

Great food. A must is the fresh croissants! Light and flaky. One of the best I’ve had, and I am an avid croissant lover. Had the Brie omelet. It had plenty of Brie cheese, a side salad and great breakfast potatoes. Amazing French onion soup and eggs Benedict. Pretty atmosphere, nice owner.

The French Onion soup is to-die-for and so are the almond croissants! We dined there for dinner and then the next morning for breakfast and the service was great both times. For breakfast, we only had 30 minutes because we had to catch our airport shuttle, and the waitstaff helped accommodate us so we could get in and out in a timely manner. Dinner ambiance was great — very intimate and laid back. Can’t wait to visit again next time I’m in Santa Fe!

Best almond croissants I’ve ever had. One of the best cheese danishes I’ve ever tried. The coffee was not so good. Service was friendly. Nice find.

When you walk in it is kind of weird because you walk right in to the dining room with no space to compose yourself and scan the place. It smelled delicious inside and I saw some plates of diners since I am practically on top of them. They looked good! Our party had already eaten a delicious burger st Santa Fe Bite and mom wanted something sweet. Unilocal led us here, one of the only bakeries open late. There were not many choices. Loved the apple tart! People were nice but their point of sale situation is jacked up. They could not get their IPad register to work and the server/cashier was scrounging for change in his pockets.

We stopped by on Sunday for lunch. Food was very good, my husband got the French onion soup and some mussels; I got the cordon blue and a chocolate dessert, maybe a bit too sweet. Service was ok, but the waiter got a break to smoke and after that it was painful having him at the table to talk to us.

I have been to Chez Mamou several times now and haven’t been disappointed… by the food. The crepes are fantastic– well balanced, delicious. The salad on the side of each dish is lightly dressed with a delightful house dressing. If you are lucky enough to arrive when the croissants are fresh from the oven, consider it a sign that you should run out and purchase lottery tickets, for you have hit the jackpot. Finally, the eggs Benedict are absolutely unforgettable. I rave about the food, but the service is lacking. For example, on my last visit I arrived early on a Sunday morning to a fairly empty restaurant. It was a frigid December day. In a restaurant with many, many tables open they seated us right by the front door, so that we had to experience an arctic blast every time a new patron entered the establishment. Our server had to be reminded to bring us: our coffee, our water, our check. He shouldn’t have had to be reminded to bring anything. Given the parking disaster at Clafoutis, I know I will be back to Chez Mamou. But I know what to expect, and I will definitely bring a coat.

We loved eating here! The food was great, the atmosphere was comfortable, and they were so friendly to our dogs. Since it was cold outside they allowed our two terriers to eat inside the restaurant with us. We will definitely go to this restaurant every time we’re in town!

I will apologize in advance since my review might not be all that objective, the main reason is because the pastry chef Paul Perrier was my boss at 1 point in time when he had Café Paris and I know Manuia(his daughter) who happen to work there too. I have been few times over the year to this place and met the owner Noella who is really nice and focused on making sure her patrons are happy. The food along the service are both great, my only regret was to not being able to get the traditional«buche de Noël»(yule log cake) My son was visiting me from Quebec and I was bummed that he couldn’t have a taste of this delicious dessert. Please Paul next time make sure you make at least few extras for next year lol.

This place would have five stars if not for the service. On the first occasion I overlooked it as the restaurant was busy and they seemed over staffed. However today when I went in I stood at the counter while the workers stood there after making eye contact with my guest and I and never acknowledged our presence. We stood for several minutes while they joked with each other and then walked off never even greeting us. I guess the owners must not need return customers and just ate in operation for a hobby… Atrocious!!! However the food was really good. We might try again., might…

Excellent excellent excellent. The food was amazing. My husband likes sweet so he got the French toast, I like hearty so I got the Florentine. Both were great. The restaurant wasn’t busy and service was great. Two young waiters, hard workers and very knowledgeable about the menu. Attentive and quick. The restaurant is small maybe about 20 tables at most but still comfortable.

We were staying at the hotel across the street and it had been a long day, so based on other reviews, we decided to have dinner at Chez Mamou. It was a nice night so we had reserved a table outside and in fact, it was lovely. But that’s where lovely ended! We had a nice server but she was the only server that night and was overwhelmed. We shared a Caesar Salad for $ 16 and it was just a bunch of cut up lettuce with an overcooked croûton and some slightly sour dressing. Then I order salmon, medium rare. It was medium rare but they left the skin on and it was soggy and awful — not a bit crispy which it should be if you are going to leave the skin on. The accompanying rice was straight off a high school cafeteria but I have to save the veggies were nice and crispy. My husband had pork tenderloin and he liked it but I found the sauce overly sweet. We each had a glass of white wine which was served lukewarm and obviously had not had time to breath and it was also slightly sour. Finally, we shared a lemon tart which was good but not the great kudos that other reviewers had said were marvelous — good but not great. And my coffee was also lukewarm. Café Mamou may be outstanding for breakfast but I’d give it a big pass at dinner time.

Super dog friendly, with several pleasant outdoor patio seating options. Exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff and service. Limited menu, but tasty dishes. Croissants are disappointing; too much like the ones from a supermarket. Last night I had Chicken Marsala for dinner. Yummm. Never ate this dish previously. Tender and tasty pieces of chicken, smothered in delicious sauce with perfect mushrooms. Also wowzer mashed potatoes(double yummm) and perfect sauteed veggies. See photo below. Good prices, fast service, overall a gem in this part of town. Had a croissant this morning. You can do better, and then earn your fifth star. Thanks !! for being so great about dogs. Much appreciation for that.

A wonderful place to have an afternoon tea outside. The brunch options were pretty appealing, and they were served until . The service was attentive. They don’t have a dessert menu, but a tray would be present when being required. May.20th
