Not much in the way of atmosphere but super friendly and food was great. We come to Santa Fe once a year and this was the best breakfast we has in town. And the least expensive.

I had caprese salad and a fantastic morel mushroom fettuccine. The cream sauce was delicious but not too rich. Service was especially good. I will come back next trip for sure.

Burgers are weak, tacos are good. Not a bad place for lunch, good seating and service is pretty good. Prices are pretty high, given the limited menu and quality of ingredients.

This is a great little place to grab breakfast. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio overlooking the park that runs along the river. They are dog friendly and we had ours sitting with us as people strolled by along the street. The food was excellent. I had the breakfast burrito which was tasty and filling and not overstuffed with potato. The coffee was great and refills were plentiful. My wife had the Salvadoran breakfast which had tasty and soft plantains.

Quaint little café with good food and coffee. Very affordable priced. You can access it through a shopping area or outside. It wasn’t crowded when I went. I would definitely recommend it.

Had a wonderful breakfast sitting on the patio of Alameda Café. The outdoor space was very well maintained and inviting. I had the Salvadoran Breakfast and my wife had the BLT with Avocado and fries(breakfast and lunch all day!). Both were very nice… simple, good tasting food delivered hot. Exactly what we wanted. Coffee was good and we relaxed and read for a while(it being Sunday morning, things were pretty slow). Even after we’d paid out, the server was kind enough to come and refill coffees and check on us.

Enjoyed lunch here at this quiet café… green chile stew for my husband and I had shrimp/veggie tacos. The best part of our quiet lunch on the side street patio was the friendly, attentive service!

We went to this place because it was very close to our hotel, had good Unilocal reviews and a decent sounding menu. But it was a crappy experience, highlighted by: 1. Bad food. I ordered the Salvadoran breakfast, a dish that is usually delicious, and not complicated — beans and plantains with crema and eggs. The eggs were fine. The beans were not quite soft and really salty. The plantains were not ripe, and insufficiently fried. My GF ordered heuvos rancheros, which were ok, but the potatoes that were served with it were salty and soggy. 2. Weak coffee! Blech! 3. Indifferent service 4. Bad music! It was oldies, and not good ones. 5. Out of Mexican hot chocolate. Really? All of that, and wasn’t even that cheap! Not sure why they have such good reviews. Don’t bother with this place.

Small but good, one of the few places open early for breakfast. The food was good and there was s cute outdoor area.

Came in for lunch. Had enchilada plate and partner had taco plate. Both were stuffed with chicken. Green sauce was excellent and would definitely recommend to all.

The veggie enchiladas were perfect. Served super hot(temp) and with fresh spinach And other great vegg inside. I’m a local and enjoyed the chile. However it is not like traditional New Mexican red & green. It’s lighter bodied but very flavorful. The service was really friendly and the coffee was hot and at the ready even at noon. Well done Alameda Café!

An excellent place for breakfast ! Good coffee, dog friendly patio area, excellent service and amazing pancakes. I had the bananas foster pancakes and they were SO amazing. The breakfast burrito was also excellent. Everything was super flavorful and the servings were huge while being affordable, for Santa Fe. They kept refilling our coffee which was roasted locally. Lovely mom and pop place. A little tucked away from the main square, but most definitely worth the trek. Also be sure to check out the store next to the café. The proprietor is great– he was all about making the deals and we ended up having a great conversation. The owners of the café even gave our pups water and were super nice and accommodating, given what a handful we are. Lovely place! Highly recommend it!

Atmosphere strange. Service good. Handheld breakfast burrito had bland chili, and fell apart so I had to eat a mess off of a tinfoil wrapper.

The food was amazing and the portions were ginormous. Dog friendly in the outside patio. The people are very nice and hospitable. Their chips and salsa are to die for. Definitely recommend a stop there or two if you are from Santa Fe and/or just visiting!

This café was excellent! The food was full of flavor and they gave you a good helping of it. I got breakfast there with my family and everyone was very satisfied with the meal. My father and brother got the Menudo, which they said was one of the best they had had. The rest of us got omelets and plantains, all of which were very very good. The guy who owns it was also very nice. It was close to downtown so we could easily walk around after breakfast and enjoy the rest of Santa Fe!

Great food, good service, authentic to style… And best prices for being in Santa Fe plaza area. I had huevos rancheros and I highly recommend them!

The only café you should be going to in Santa Fe. Great presentation of delicious food. Food is not too spicy which is an appeal for most travelers. Alameda Café offers a relaxed environment for people looking for a great meal or wanting a quiet, comfortable place to relax in the morning. The service is great, it is usually the owner who is working full time so you know that dedication to the restaurant is a given. They offer a slice of homemade keylime pie. Pricing is very generous for a restaurant that is practically on the plaza and outdoor seating is available. I hope they eventually get their beer & wine license so that they will be open for dinner as well. They have a kids menu as well.

Great food with outside, dog friendly, dining option. I had the pork & green chile stew which was delicious. My wife had the french toast, which had a corn flake crust, which was amazing.

We love the service and the food, I recommend the Huevos Rancheros, the presentation was excellent as was the home made green salsa, everything was fresh and clean. They also have a breakfast Burrito that a local artist has every morning before opening his gallery. This is a husband and wife who love what they are providing and are proud of their food.

My wife and I found this small restaurant to be very authentic to Santa Fe. My burrito was FULL of perfectly grilled chicken with equally tasty rice and black beans. My wife’s Cobb Salad was also delicious. The only reason I didn’t give this experience 5-stars was due to the extra sauce on the burrito even though that seems to be pretty common in Santa Fe. We do, however, highly recommend this restaurant. Spend some time visiting with Juan, the owner. Great story… great young man.
