We worked with Robin on getting several things framed, she was awesome — helped to pick our mats and frames we may not have originally thought looked good with our art. they were reasonably priced and came out looking amazing.

I’m embarrassed to say I was tentative when the person who offered to help me was a young person and I questioned her expertise. She proved me completely wrong and provided some of the most expert advice and professional service I’ve ever experienced in SC. They really get how personal it is to frame artwork, and they know their stuff!

I rarely do a Unilocal review, but I was so happy with my experience at York that I felt compelled to write. Kelly helped me yesterday with replacing glass in two pictures that had recently broke. She was friendly, efficient, and generous with her time. After a hectic recent move, it was so nice to have someone so nice assist me.

Don’t look any further for framing needs, this is a great local business, with excellent service and reasonable prices. Very personalized help to make your project or art look it’s best. I will be back for sure!

I took my poster into be framed and it looks great! Absolutely what I wanted. I am very happy with the work that was done, and the staff was exceptionally friendly.

Had another great experience with the extremely friendly and helpful folks at York Gallery. While I was there, two «regulars» came in and it was as if they were family. Robin and Sofia took a lot of time to help me with my items, determine the best way to mat, cut multiple windows, choose the right frame etc.
I highly recommend them.

In the last year or so I have had several pieces framed here and I think they do a fabulous job. The staff, and new owner Robin Lerios are very attentive, patient, and sweet. I don’t live in SC and I still make time to drive down to support this fabulous business. I wouldn’t go to anywhere else!

I have taken my art to York for years, the service and quality of the workmanship is just incredible. Most recent was a very sentimental order; they selected the mat and frame and the finished work of art took my breath away — and the emotions went crazy from there. It is a stunning, beautiful tribute because of the choices they suggested for the frame and mat, they made a beautiful shadow box that is a new treasure and heirloom. Thank you Robin and staff, I am so grateful!

York Framing Gallery is the ONLY place in Santa Cruz to trust your mounting and framing needs to. I contacted them with a last-​minute, large format (6’x4’), mounting job. By last minute I mean less than 24 hours. I was stressing out to say the least but Robin and her team alleviated that stress by being informative, flexible and by doing a terrific job.
I almost gave this review only 4 stars because there was an issue with the placing of the order, but this problem was handled in such a professional manner, that when I thought it through I realized that that is EXACTLY how we all wish such situations would be handled by every business we deal with. And we all know that that is hardly the case.
It is because of this approach and the subsequent outcome that Robin and her team warrant the fifth star. The work = perfection. Professionalism = First Class
Will I take my future projects to York? Yes, definitely.

The perfect place for framing those special photos or works of art, and great deals on affordable, high quality «ready made» frames. The customer service is great and the owner, Robin is a joy to work with and so talented at what she does! I highly recommend them.
