I got a pot for my live Christmas tree and a bag of white rocks to mulch it with. I love it! Priced quite reasonably and great customer service. I’ll be back!

It’s hard to believe that you can have a five star customer experience in Santa Cruz but it’s true. The gents at Pottery Planet are awesome. What an amazing selection of pottery and ceramics you’ll find anywhere. The prices are very competitive and as said, the customer service is outstanding. Many thanks to Ulf, Johan and Daniel for their attentive help in selecting our new additions. Thanks to our landscape designer for pointing us in the right direction. We will certainly be back.

The male owner is always friendly and helpful. I would not say prices are reasonable, more on the moderate to high side but the prices do not keep me from shopping there as there is quite a large selection of beautiful pots and other garden needs.

So excited to have been referred by our landscape design team to Pottery Planet! They have an amazing selection of pots at reasonable prices in many styles, sizes and shapes. Stephanie was super helpful in discussing sizes and uses and in helping us make a decision as the pots we choose are going to become a part of the landscape in our yard and we will be living with them for years to come. They also build custom water features which we are now considering! You can’t go wrong with these guys!

I went today to get the supplies to make a backyard fountain. I was so happy with the help and attention I got that I might become a regular.

When I walked into Pottery Planet, I wanted every thing. Every. Thing. Kid in a candy store.
Our landscape designer sent me here to pick out a large pot to turn into a disappearing water feature for our backyard. There’s so many beautiful colors and designs making my decision so difficult. And little knick knack things I want to gobble up – like tiny ceramic turtles and ceramic balls made from scraps. And the large glass garden art spheres… oh my lord, my husband is so lucky I didn’t buy one in each color. Lucky I didn’t buy any. Serious self-​restraint in action.
The customer service was excellent — not hovering, not ignoring. The guy who helped me kindly offered to wheel my giant pot outside so I could see the color and design in the sunlight. It took like 15 minutes to seal the deal and be on my merry way. The next business day, they delivered it to our house (for an extra charge) all prepped for installation. They sell you the whole shebang — reservoir, pump, light, etc. Good stuff.
I can’t wait to go back here sometime and buy some pots for planting or gifts.

I love Pottery Planet and Johan, one of the owners. I bought about eight large «rustic» pots three years ago, and my yard will never be the same. Their beauty really perks things up even during the dullest winter days. We converted one tall pot into a beautiful fountain. For not a lot of money, it’s like having a work of art I can enjoy every day. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The selection of pots is awesome, sometimes I go there just to enjoy the beauty.

We’ve bought many pots from them from small to very large and are always pleased with the amazing variety of choices.

These guys really are wonderful. I bought a huge urn/​pot here and had them turn it in to a fountain. They delivered it and installed it. Hassle free and very helpful. Highly recommened. Beautiful orchid selection, too!

Awesome selection of plant pots in unique shapes and all sorts of sizes. Garden art and accessories are placed throughout the shop so you have to take your time and look up, down & everywhere. It’s worth checking out if you have a garden or yard decorative or functional need.

I’m astonished that no one has reviewed Pottery Planet! When you drive by Pottery Planet, as I did for several years before venturing inside, it’s very deceiving. From the outside, it looks like a very small place, possibly an art gallery featuring pottery. A place where I purchased some bamboo (Blue Bamboo) recommended this place highly, so I paid them a visit.
First off, Pottery Planet is about 5 times larger than it appears from the front. They have a large indoor area and then an outdoor area out back which is larger than their indoor area. Secondly, they simply have the most interesting (and beautiful) pots I’ve ever seen, with an amazing variety of designs. They have everything from the tiniest pots to pots that are big enough to curl up inside and take a nap. Finally, their staff is insanely friendly and nice and it’s obvious that they care about their business and what they are selling.
