Dave did a great job. Answered the many questions I had via email before locking down a time for the work to be done. Flexible hours were great. Very happy with the work he did. Mounted two TV’s and hid all wires in the wall. Will be calling him again in the future for the surround sound set up!

I don’t take the time to write many reviews, but felt Dave’s work needed to be shared. I’m a tech guy and for the life of me couldn’t figure out how to get a few pieces of new home theater gear working. I called just before noon, he showed up about 30 mins later and had everything running smoothly in about 30 mins. It was clear this guy is a total pro, he was navigating guides faster than I could read and went way beyond my initial request and also did a sound re-​calibration and installed a new cable that gave me extra capabilities I didn’t even know where options. His price was beyond reasonable. I wouldn’t think twice about calling him again, and from now on, instead of trying to figure it out myself, I’m calling Dave!

Dave from Modern Wiring did a great job of setting up my new TV.
He took the time to explain my options and provided me with some good ideas about placement. I don’t know how but after he hooked it into my existing audio system it sounded amazing and he even showed me some things I never knew I could do with it including getting sound in my backyard and from streaming sources like Pandora.
I highly recommend Modern Wiring.

I decided to hire Dave after finding him on Craig’s List. Dave did not disappoint. He installed 2 TV’s for us, and did a great job. I had already purchased one TV mount that I wanted them to use and Dave had no problem using my parts. (In hindsight, his mounts cost the same and seemed better but I had already purchased it from CostCo.)
Dave was friendly, fast and professional. I appreciated that his attitude was different from what I’ve encountered when hiring other people to do work in my home. He got it done, he explained everything and allowed me to make decisions along the way and did a great job cleaning up afterwards.
I would recommend him to anyone who needs an excellent installation project

Dave and team were able to come in and do what 2 other «installers» said would be too difficult. My request was pretty straightforward, install 5.1 on the bottom floor of my house, hide all the wires, and, while in there, pull 2 speaker cables out to my patio to install 2 all-​weather speakers there. The other installers complained of too much wood in my ceiling, having to remove all of my crown molding, and having to punch a lot of holes to get the work done. I passed on them.
Dave was straightforward and honest. He told me he would do the best he could to minimize cuts and holes. In the end, all of my speakers were installed perfectly, cables run out to my patio and outdoor speakers installed — all with minimal cuts or holes.
Now most installations may not be as clean as mine, but Dave and team were professional, came in and did their best to make a difficult job run as clean and smooth as possible. Great work!
