I’ve known doctor Helpern for 25 years. Doctor Kazell was in the office with him. My personal feelings I believe he needs to retire. He has turned grumpy and lately he has this god complex his bedside manner has fallen drastically. I cant even seem to get my test results back. I had to go to an outside source to actually receive my really simple test results regarding my kidneys.

They don’t come any better. Kind, compassionate, actually returns phone calls and goes far and above the call of duty to help his patients.
Awesome. I pray the never retires, for I will be stuck and hard pressed to find another like him. He’s one of a dying breed.

I think the previous review was totally uncalled for. Dr Stephen Halpern is one of the most caring and honest doctors you’d ever meet. He’s direct and to the point. Do you really want some wishy, washy, hand holding blahtity blah blah, or do you want someone who will tell you the truth and what needs to be done about it? I know what I’d prefer. Dr Halpern is a good man and extremely experienced. I would trust his opinion, in a heartbeat, over many other doctors. It’s so annoying to read bad posts about good people, especially when most of the people that write these bad posts are probably those who feel «entitled» and are overly full of themselves.
