Coffee Point

With so many awesome coffee shops around, I really should have known better than to try liquor store to go spot, but I was in a rush and it had a good review so I decided to try it out. Big Mistake. HUGE.
The woman working was extremely sweet, but admitted to being new to making espresso drinks. I don’t know if it was bc she was new or if it’s because they reuse 3 day old grounds, but the triple cappuccino I ordered was terrible, watery, and tastes like three day old coffee. It was $ 4 worth of undrinkable swill and I have all of the regrets and none of the caffeine.

Coffee Point is one of those hidden local gems you might not notice. It serves seriously good takeaway coffee and espresso out front of of the U-​save liquor store. The beans are the best and the Ghirardelli chocolate mochas are quality too. Seems like its a mix of commuters and returning beach goers taking their coffee over the hill plus locals around town.
