Probably my favorite antique/second hand shop in town to browse in at this time. Clearwater has a very comfortable atmosphere and some great treasures if you’re willing to window-shop. Great small pieces behind the glass counter at the front. Scores: –poster of Zhou Xuan, a Chinese singer from the 1940s –decorative lacquered cigar box –nice pottery/stoneware –cute little wooden frame shaped like a house but in a folk art style not in a cheesy gag me style The shop is one long building with a couple rows of rooms. The entrance hall divides two sections of the store, which feel like two different stores altogether. The duaity is actually a huge part of why this place is great. I like to start from the left where the plants, dusty tchotchkes, and random other clothing/tools are then work my way to the right of the store where the nicer polished things are. The right side is a little more organized and has a lot of larger furniture pieces, nice art pieces, and some Asian art. I don’t buy much from the right side of the store but it’s a calming way to end the trip and soothe the stimulation from browsing the other side. Parking is a little funky but never too crowded. Feel free to haggle! The shopkeepers tell you that immediately and they mean it!

Keen eye for kitch. Fantastic disco period makes me wanna sing YMCA but I don’t because I’m sure I’d break something. Feels authentically fluffed.

I’ve enjoyed coming here to browse many times and have purchased a number of items. The items range from $ 5 vintage to one of a kind antiques. The price tags are over-market imo but they have a ongoing 20% off it seems, and you can barter. Although other antique stores are cleaner and better organized this is a place you can find interesting things and not be approached every 5 minutes by someone desperate for a sale.

Not as great of selection as it was last time. Lots of pieces that should be left in the past and prices have definitely increased. This place is no longer on my treasure map.

This shop has an incredible selection of items — from $ 1 vinyl to investment-worthy antique furniture. I’ve only met one person that works there, but he was very nice!

who wouldnt want to spend their money here? First of all it may be the last authentic antique shop in all of santa cruz county, secondly the prices are freaking amazing and thirdly Joesph and Carlos are the most friendly and sweetest sales people you could meet. Thier picks are always unique, the merchandise moves so you can always find new things, they don’t follow you around the store, they aren’t pushing for a sale and I have never regretted the many purchases I have made there over the years. If you are an interior designer or love interior design and have not stopped by here you are missing out, but this place is rustic, so don’t expect a prim and proper display, its rough terrain for good reward!

I absolutely adore this place! I we came upon this place accidentally and what a wonderful find. Such an eclectic mix of treasures. The energy of the store is light and whimsical. Love to wander through it slowly admiring every little thing. The owner Joseph is truly a breath of fresh air in the antique world, which can often feel stifled and bland. You won’t leave this store empty handed, but you will always leave happier and with a lighter heart. FABULOUS. !!!

Joseph and Carlos are awesome! Ok, aside from these being quite possibly the two warmest salespeople I have ever met — the furnishings and décor you can find here are AMAZING. I hate to even let the word out! We have now almost an entire houseful of items from here, some we purchased that are beautiful as is, and some we purchased intent to refurbish(like our Eames-inspired new recliner!). Thank you both for making every experience we have here beyond our expectations!!!

One of my favorite shopping experiences is to spend some time wondering around this beautiful shop thinking about the history behind their gorgeous and eclectic items. They have a little bit of everything here from primitive to mid-century to shabby chic. Their prices are super reasonable and the selection is ever-changing. Really nice and knowledge owners make you feel welcome, even if your plan is just to window shop. But beware, you WILL walk out with a purchase because there are just too many awesome things to pass up! We have come away with several of my favorite pieces from here and they are the furniture we always receive compliments on when friends are over at our house. For a relaxing Sunday morning, hit the Live Oak Farmers Market for breakfast and then stop by the Bazaar!

This special shop has something for every treasure hunter, antique collector, suave décor enthusiast. I am a bargain hunter… mostly a window shopper, who always finds several items priced just right and too great to pass up! The owners are obviously very good at finding wonderful pieces of all eras. The shop is set up to keep you looking in every direction because there is forever something I want as much as the last item i saw just a glance to the left or right or even up. We love this place!

This is the kind of place I literally can get lost in for hours. I loved wandering around admiring. Unique, quirky, and awesome from top to bottom. Great prices, friendly atmosphere, and willing to negotiate on their antique treasures. Warning: you absolutely will leave with something!

I may not check-in evey time I come here. But, I’ve been here many times. Every time I(we) come here we don’t leave without buying some thing AWESOME! We always leave with a smile. I JUSTLOVETHISPLACE!!! The other weekend my girl and I drove all the way from LOSBANOS, CA just to come here. We walked out with an amazing Red Glass Chandelier and other items we could not live without. As we walked in one of the owners say’s «Are you Kelly?» I was stunned. I smiled and said«Yes». I am one of their biggest fans on FB. Very friendly. Every time I need furniture, I come here first. I bought a dresser, retro kitchen table, many many other items. SHOPHERE!!! It’s great!

My local, go-to spot for all my funky-fresh home furnishing needs. Great finds, fair prices, and awesome owners. Joseph and Carlos are always around to point you to a new cool item and open to giving you a deal. They’re smart buyers and the inventory turns over fairly quickly, so there’s always different stuff to look at each time you go in. Basically, whenever I need a little retail therapy, I come here and can usually walk out with some kind of new treasure for under $ 20 and no «polluting the planet with more crap» guilt. My favorite place in town.

Great, funky shop. I’ve been there twice now and have found one of a kind gotta-have-it types of things. The first time was a pink Victorian style couch(Husband nixed the idea-BOO!) As I recall it was in the vicinity of $ 300 and the owner was totally willing to negotiate, which was very cool. The 2nd time(today) I came away with a really cool old feed bucket for a crazy good price and left behind a cabinet made by a local craftsman with repurposed wood. There were a few in the store of various sizes. All funky and distressed and beautiful. A lot of the furniture in the store has been updated with new, fresh, bright paint. My girls loved that! I think there must be something for everyone here and there is not a store like it that I’ve ever seen… It makes me want to go back everyday just to see what’s new. And the owner couldn’t be friendlier.

I really enjoy shopping at Clearwater Bazaar. The owner is friendly and willing to negotiate on prices. My friend got some sweet sunglasses for $ 5 and I have bought a few Ball Perfect mason jars for a decent price. The owner sometimes rehabs furniture and adds new paint to update some older pieces. The come out great. I really like the new desk clock I got recently!

I visited Clearwater Bazaar today and I was pleasantly surprised to find a lot of affordable interesting pieces of vintage furniture and home décor. Tables, chairs, benches, shelving, mirrors, jewelry, artwork, and a wide selection of outdoor furniture are available. Salesman Carlos is very helpful and friendly. Definitely visit if you are looking for a dresser, I saw several beauties in the $ 100 — $ 250 range.
