BAAAAAADDDDDDSERVICE. SERIOUSLY…1 person checking out customers & cooking!!! The food is ok but with 4 kids, can’t wait that long to eat.

I lived up the street from this place for about a year, and came here all the time. They’ve got great cheap Mexican popsicles and sometimes they have some decent produce. I’ve only gotten the meat here once, which was surprisingly tasty. Avoid the taqueria though, there’s a reason my friends call it Taqueria Diarrhea. Note: I’ve never heard it called Bakery Leibrandt before, I think it’s called El Rio Market.

[(2/19/11) Full disclosure: I now own a food service establishment, and will no longer post reviews of business where a conflict of interest could be perceived(such as other food service businesses). However I will leave up reviews that were written prior to 2010.] Riverside Meat Market & Bakery, alternately known as Bakery Leibrandt, is a great place to grab that missing veggie, quart of milk, or any other forgotten grocery item. That might not seem like a big deal if you’re not familiar with the streets around the Boardwalk, but throw in a circuitous route out and add in half a million tourists, and being able to walk for those must have items is key. On top of that they have a tasty taquería nestled in the back, which stays open later then any other taquería around(hey, 8:30pm doesn’t seem like an unreasonable time to want a burrito). The al pastor super burrito last night was savory and saucy, just the way I like it. Bonus: I’m a sucker for the Black & White Arizona Iced Tea, not many places seem to have it but I found it here no problem. Deduction: They don’t sell beer(not always a bad thing) and there’s a place about 100 ft away that does.
