A Reclamation Project

I originally contacted them in September, it’s now April and my bank finally got his bank to agree to forfeit the money so I got a refund — no help (again) from him. He’s a liar and a scammer (he may also be a carpenter, but it seems no one will ever know). Stay away!

Do NOT purchase anything from Reclamation Project! They took my money and I have yet to rcv my order. Gabe does not answer his phone or emails. I have never encountered such gross customer negligence. I am in the process of building a lawsuit… if anyone knows Gabe’s last name I would be very grateful.

everything you could want from a business of this nature. these guys are masters of their craft, a pleasure to do business with, and you can obtain a quality piece of furniture for an extremely reasonable price. it won’t happen overnight, but you will cherish it for a lifetime. I had a thoroughly positive experience with these folks and fully intend to be a repeat customer.

Just unreliable.
Gabe is a really nice guy who sounds passionate about his work but just can’t deliver consistently. I asked him to make a bed. The first time he came to my house to deliver… unfinished/​partially painted pieces. Went back to the drawing board. Brought back a great looking bed. with somewhat off proportions (several inches wider and longer than a standard Queen mattress) and that SQUEEKED in every joint each time I would shift around while sleeping.
Called and emailed around 10 times to set up a return/​pickup/​refund, which he originally offered when I pointed out the noise after the bed was originally assembled. No response.
So, dropped the bed off at his workshop with one of his assistants. 3 months later and 2 calls and 3 emails sent to him about a refund. I got a hold of him from my sister’s phone and he told me he’d have a refund for me in two weeks. That was 1.5 months ago.
So, I Unilocal.
I just don’t know about the beds working out.

They built a nice bed several months ago but still haven’t delivered the slats so now my bed is sagging and its really uncomfortable. They said they’d bring em by a bunch of times… still haven’t. Called, emailed, not sure what the deal is.
I like to support local businesses but i’m having a real tough time with these guys and wouldn’t recommend them at this point.

Gabriel was awesome! I had an antique table that I had put a water ring on. Gabe picked it up, fixed it perfectly, and delivered it back to me all within 24 hours! Great communicator, sensitive to it’s age & provenance, and so quick! Great care & the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!
