Santa Clarita Tattoo

This review is on getting a piercing only. I went into the shop, the lady who does the piercings was very nice and helped me pick out some jewelry. I went back to her room, she has super long hair that was everywhere, wasn’t tied back at all, and then she proceeded to talk to the tattoo artist, and go in and out of the room several times which was annoying! She did a fine job piercing my nose, didn’t hurt, she put the stud in and waited for the bleeding to stop before she let me go which was nice. But then the problems began… she told me to clean my nose piercing with Bactine which come to find out clearly states DO NOT use on puncture wounds (which is what a piercing is) but I didn’t find that out for at least 2 weeks. She told me to not take it out under any circumstances just to come back to her if I had trouble. I cleaned it like she said and the first week it looked awesome, after that I got this huge bump on my nose (keloid I found out), I kept cleaning and went back to the shop, she wasn’t there but the guy who was looked at it and said it looked fine, and she’d tell me to keep cleaning it’d be ok. I left in the push pin stud for another week until I made it to Orange to the best shop EVER and he was appalled at the size of stud she’d used. It was waaaayyyyy too small, there was NO extra room for swelling and the inside piece had already started growing into my nose!!! He took it out and it is healed up and the bump is gone but she clearly didn’t know what to clean a piercing with and didn’t know the size of stud she needed to use. So now I have to pay someone to pierce it again because she messed it up!

I recently moved to Santa Clarita and I was in search of a reputable tattoo/​piercing shop. While I’ve yet to get any tattoos, I frequently get piercings and I need to have a piercer I feel comfortable with. Karen was amazing!
When I first parked out front I was skeptical, but that changed as soon as I walked inside. The shop is clean and spacious!
Karen appears to be a rough-​around-​the-​edges type lady, but she is SO SWEET. She is funny and kind. She definitely knows what she’s doing.
The prices are a bit higher than my old shop, but the quality jewelry and Karen’s hospitality and talent are well worth it. I went in to get my rook pierced and was able to sleep on it the second night — something I’ve never been able to do comfortably after any other cartilage piercings. I definitely plan to go back soon for my snug.
That same day, I mentioned I was looking for a new captive ring for my tragus. She let me know the cost of the rings and I told her that I wouldn’t be able to afford it that day because I’m a waitress and I had to wait for my next paycheck. When I paid, Karen threw one in — no charge :)
The next week I had lost one of the balls on my curved barbell and went back in for help. Karen came out and helped me right away. She popped on another ball, gave me a little numbing gel (because it was sensitive from just being pierced), and sent me on my way — bing bang boom.
Very positive experience, mainly thanks to Karen. I will definitely be going back! :)

Julian is amazing he has done all 6 of my tattoos and I love them all! He does great work!

Shane is the absolute best when it comes to tattooing. He’s done most of my tattoos. He’s also very interesting to talk to and a great person who cares about his customers.
Karen has helped me tremendously with my septum piercing. I needed a clicker and she gave me a good deal on a custom ordered one! When the clicker came in, it was the wrong size so she’s reordering it to make sure I have the right size clicker for my septum.
Santa Clarita tattoo has friendly customer service and excellent prices. They work very hard to make sure you leave happy!

Julian is my boy. He’s done everything on me but 2 tattoos. When I say everything I mean my calf, both rib cages, and my whole back. I give him the idea I want and the creative freedom to come up with it and he has not disappointed me once. True definition of a tattoo artists and the only artists I trust with my tattoos. I had a new piece of art work done by Julian. What an amazing experience. I discussed with Julian a number of different ideas and he came up with a really cool Hammerhead Shark design. The design, the colors and the placement were exactly what I was looking for. Julian went above and beyond with his level of professionalism. I highly recommend this place and Julian to anyone considering a tattoo. If you’re willing to work with the artist and take their advice and opinions. You’ll have a great tattoo and a really good experience.

We just got married that day walked in when they first opened. Talked to Kristina and she seemed bothered that we wanted some work done. Said it’s probably better that we wait for another artist to come in and do two small tattoo’s. We told her we would come back in an hour she said ok she I’ll do it an hour, what do you guys want? We said we wanted our wedding date and love on our ring finger, Kristina wanted to charge us $ 120 Each for four letters and six numbers??? Drove to another local artist and got the work done for considerably less, the shop was extremely clean and the guy was happy we brought him business even though he had someone in his chair already.

I found Julian on Unilocal to later find out he was the same guy that tatted my best friend! I usually don’t write reviews but he definitely deserves a great one! He is amazing when it comes to tattooing and a super cool dude!!! I needed to cover up/​fix a tattoo that was messed up by a previous artist from somewhere else and he was more than willing to hook it up and it came out awesome! Beyond happy with the results and appreciated his realness, honesty and expertise! I will definitely go back to get some more and send whoever I know his way! His work is really detailed and made my tattoo look so life-​like!!! Thanks again Julian! Make sure if you go there ASK FOR JULIAN!!! I can promise you, you won’t regret it!

Julian is by far the best tattoo artist I’ve ever experienced. I got 2 tattoos done at different shops prior to finding Julian. So far he has done 3 large colored tattoos for me and I absolutely love them! I get complimented on how lifelike they look and the color almost daily. Since I’ve gotten my tattoos my friends will only go to him. If you want quality work, amazing color, and a clean environment I definitely recommend going to Julian!

Amazing! My last tattoo was going to be a challenge. Kristina took on the project and made it come out better than I expected. Def gonna recommend her and this shop! These guys are the best!
