To begin, I joined Sam’s Club specifically because I was told there are no long lines and same great prices as Costco. Once the paperwork was finished I went straight to eyewear and sat down with Angie and the nightmare began. We began filling out forms and with no other customers to wait on and another colleague free, Angie proceeded to stop in the middle of «assisting» me to help someone else she recognized who came in later. She was extremely rude and obnoxious from the moment I sat down and even got on a phone call to deal with someone else at the same time. After being completely ignored and treated so poorly for such a long period of time my patience eventually wore thin and I got up and walked out. I will never return here again and will highly recommend the same to everyone I come into contact with. Thanks Angie!

Great costumer service, however, I think it’s strange that it’s against Sam’s Club policy to tell members what days the optometrist is in the office.

Understaffed. The frame selection is limited than costco. They didn’t had an optician to test my eyes. You can buy the frames on the counter but if you decided to return it, you have to go by optical to refund your purchase. I think it’s to quality check the glass before reselling them but … can’t sams club main Staff can do this as well? Maybe they have different management or owners… don’t know but if you buy there, do know it’s hassle to call them, come over and ask someone from the optical department to refund your purchase. That’s all I’m going to say about this. Buyer, beware.

Nice employees but the optical lab and process that Sams Club uses is less than desirable. They have a few selected frames where the lab makes the lenses to fit properly. More often then not the frames have to be traced and the measurements are sent to the lab. The lab then mails the lenses back to Sams Club optical to be inserted into the frame. I ordered two pairs of glasses and both had to be re-made twice because the lenses were too big for the frame. This process took a long time and the glasses still look terrible. I guess you get what you pay for although I’ve never had this issue at Costco.

Angie is so great. My grandmother is handicap and she is really going out of her way to make sure she is taken care of. She is so detailed and professional. I am so happy when she is well taken care of.
