Such a great doctor. I as most people dread hospitals and doctor visits. After I had blood work done, Pillai’s office called me and told me that I needed a blood transfusion. I wasn’t sure why (I’m anemic), I wasn’t sure what a blood transfusion entailed. I told the office staff, that I was freaking out, and they told me they would try to get a hold of the doctor even though he was out for the day. The doctor called me from his personal cell phone minutes later and calmed me down. He is very personable, will check up on you. I was experience migraines after the transfusion and he scheduled me to get a CT scan, and he showed up at the CT office to let me know everything was okay.
I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. The ease of scheduling appointments within a couple days and availability and friendly office staff is also a plus.

He’s a good doctor gets straight to the point with out wasting your time he don’t play around lol

Terrible bedside manner. Very cool and aloof. I mentioned my throat was hurting and he would not have even checked it if I hadn’t specifically asked him to do so. A couple days later, after having negative side effects from a drug he’d prescribed, I had to call the office 4 times throughout the day to get a response. And it was, «Keep taking the drug that was prescribed as the side effects will eventually wear off after a week or two.» Uh, no. The Dr. asked his staff to relay the message, obviously unconcerned about patient care himself. The previous review states there was «no long wait.» Exactly. There’s not a long wait because he is an inept doctor who cannot be bothered with sympathies.

Dr. Pillai is very knowledgeable and I feel like he really cares about his patients. I’ve been to him several times in the past year for different things and each time, he took his time and made sure all my concerns were addressed. He is the most personable doctor I’ve ever dealt with.
This is a great family practice, the front office staff is fantastic and the hours are convenient. Highly recommend.
