Came here for my grandmother’s 85th birthday. We were sat down and my mother ordered garlic bread because she had read the wrong menu. We were told they didn’t serve it but the waiter offered to bring us bread with garlic. It was a good start to an exceptional meal. Service was impeccable, the wait staff on top of every refill before we realized we needed it, offering plates to share my grandmother’s salad when they realized it was too big for her alone. Food came quick and was delicious. I ordered the lasagna which had caught my attention because of the sauce they used and, apart from home made lasagna I’ve enjoyed from an Italian aunt, it was the best lasagna I’ve ever had. Overall, great meal and at very fair prices for the excellent service. My family and I look forward to returning here again. Highly recommended.

The food is to die for. My server wasn’t the friendliest but it’s fine. Such a cute restaurant. I think it’s inexpensive for the food quality that they offer. When I went it wasn’t busy but I went during a week night.

I’m not sure how I never knew this place existed. I loved everything from the appearance, to the quick service and waiters constantly floating on the floor to make sure drinks were filled etc. The food was delicious. This will be my new go to spot!

Not that good. My veal marsala had no taste and the mashed potatoes were dried out. My husband’s ravioli while tasty, the rock shrimp was rubbery. Also, not that I mind paying for break, but 3 small medallions for $ 24 saw a little pricey, for this less than mediocre restaurant.

Insanely incredible. I’ve been here several times and finally had an opportunity to bring my mother here for dinner. We split an eggplant appetizer and each of our entrée’s was prepared perfectly. Nice ambiance and a full bar. The ultimate Italian place :) I’ve had Italian food all over including the north end in Boston, which has some of the very best anywhere. Piccola is every bit as special. And. very reasonably priced. The only complaint? We had to drive from the Pasadena/La Canada area to get there as there isn’t a single place in our area than remotely compares. Please Piccola, open another spot in the Pasadena area!!!

This our date night Italian spot! and with our busy schedules we try to eat there at least twice a month. They are so friendly and the food is so good! I can no longer touch their bread, its addicting! They always sit us right away and I love the family feeling around us. I have great memories with my babe there and that makes me coming back for more. Ciao!

Outstanding restaurant! We dined there last night for our anniversary. It was fantastic, from the minute we stepped in the door. Wait staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The menu and prices are great. We could have ordered one of each, as everything sounded to die for. The ambiance is lovely too. And the food was exceptional. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Don’t pass up the opportunity to treat yourself to a very special dining experience.

This place is amazing! So good that we spend almost every Christmas Eve here. The family vibe is great and the customer service has never been disappointing. Our glasses are always full, the food is phenomenal every time. I highly recommend this restaurant! It’s a little nicer than casual. A good restaurant for a special occasion. Can’t complain.

This was a gem of a place and I can attribute going here to Unilocal. It is set back from the main road so unless you have been there you would not know what it is like. Definitely the inside doesn’t fit in to the location so don’t be surprised when you walk in to what looks like a four star restaurant. Valet parking as well since street parking is non-existent. I would make reservations for this restaurant because we did and when we got there at 6 on Friday it was close to empty but when we left it was packed, including the patio and there are a lot of seats. We were seated in a corner booth and our waitress Jenna greeted us with a warm smile. We had brought a bottle of wine for the dinner and there is a $ 15 corkage fee. They do seem to have a large wine selection so it is up to you, but we have a lot of wine and I would rather pay $ 15 than $ 60 for a good bottle. We decided to order the antipasto for two to start and it was nice size portion of Italian meats and cheeses along with some roasted peppers and olives. A good start along with the fresh bread. My wife chose the ravioli that was on the specials of the day menu with artichoke and a truffle and leek sauce with shaved leek. She described it as being a very light dish with very thin ravioli(not over thick pasta). I chose rigatoni, with ground sausage, black truffles and percorino cheese. The taste of both were elegant and bursting with flavor. Service was top notch and again it was well out of place for the area. I love the area, but there are not that many of this high caliber restaurants around and we will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant ever. Its a hidden gem literally. The location is partially hidden .I found it by coincidence when I was browsing the web for a new exciting restaurant. The sauce ingredients in their dishes are totally different from other Italian restaurants which makes the taste exquisite and to die for. Did i mention their Tiramisu yet ??? You have to have it, its like you are in Italy having it sitting in the Florence Plaza. Staff is super friendly. My friends were amazed when we got together there and loved it too.

This place is the best for a taste of Sicily. The dish with lightly breaded chicken on a bed of fresh spinach, is amazing. Also, try a seasonal dish of pasta with squash flowers, really good. We love, the atmosphere and food, reminds us of all the great Italian restaurants we left behind in Milwaukee.

It really doesn’t get any better than this place! Complementary valet, great food, wonderful service and a serene ambiance… My husband and I love to come here for special occasions! We just went here tonight for our second wedding anniversary and they presented us with a cannoli with«Happy Anniversary» written in chocolate on the plate! It’s little, personal touches like this that keep us coming back! Thank you Piccola Trattoria! P. S. My family and I also come here for lunch pretty often and their sandwiches are AMAZING!

Best restaurant in SCV. It’s located in Canyon Country hidden off Sierra Highway. The service is exceptional with professional friendly attentive waiters. The atmosphere is nice in the restaurant. We sat in a lovely comfortable patio area. The food is authentic cooked to perfection(al dente). Foccacia with olive oil balsamic and Parmesan was served warm and fresh. Risotto and swordfish was amazing, bolonese and ravioli awesome! This little hidden gem has earned a solid 5 stars and I will definitely be back.

A friend of mine who lives in Santa Clarita took me here for dinner. I would not have known that this restaurant existed since it’s not visible to any main roads in the area. You pull up to a street that looks more residential. It was totally unexpected that this hidden gem offers one of the finest Italian food around. I’ve gone back taking my husband with me He has a sophisticated palate and he really enjoyed his meal. We’ve been back a few times and we decided to have dinner here on Valentines Day. It did not disappoint!!! In the past, I’ve had Risotto ai Funghi(mushroom), Risotto in seafood and eggplant combination.(Yes, I do love risotto), may look like a simple dish but there’s a tedious process to get it right and I love them so far! Ravioli di Crostacei(black and white ravioli with seafood in a saffron cream sauce… amazing!!!, Linguini alle Vongale(clams in white wine sauce).truly delicious! My husband ordered one of the specials last night, grilled swordfish and the works. The side veggies was a little bland, so he added a little butter. Not a deal breaker! The simplest pasta dish like Capellini al Pomodoro was cooked to perfection and served in a light sauce. Service is excellent every single time, ambiance is cozy and romantic especially at dinner time. The restaurant is full most of the time, it can be a little noisy but I see that as festive. lol. On top of everything else, it is reasonably priced!!! Always a great experience at this restaurant!!!

Sometimes you go to a place that has high ratings on Unilocal and you wonder why it got the high rating. Not this place. If I could give it 6 stars, I would! After driving around the Santa Clarita Valley looking for a good Italian restaurant, we finally settled down here. Boy, did it not disappoint! We ordered a few antipasti dishes that were delicious! For our entrees, we had lamb chops, filet of sol, ravioli and margarita pizza — all delicious and authentic. The service here is superb! The venue is quaint with a flair of elegance. Valet parking is complementary, too. Oh, one more thing — the prices are reasonable! Truly, one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a very long time! If you know Italian food, this is the place to go!

A totally unexpected jewel hidden in Santa Clarita. If they can get something as simple as their bread and olive oil perfected, then you know this is a legit place. The service was also great — you know it’s owned by an Italian family. I recommend you try their special which they switch out on a weekly basis.
