Oak Tree Apartments

Nice place to live. Security gates work. Great place for dogs and cats. Clean and well maintained. Washer & Drier in each unit and spacious open floor plan. Central air and heat plus a gas fireplace. Quiet. Staff is very nice. We like our 3 bedroom.

You are going to be robbed.
The Oak Tree Apartments IS the worst part of that neighborhood and full of riff-​raff. The property manager is uncaring and does the bare minimum. He is also never around to do any more than the bare min. We lived there for eight months and had our car broken into twice and things stolen from our storage area. Other people have had their cars stolen and there were safety meetings that basically blamed the tenants for not bolting everything they own to the ground. They made it seem like it was our fault for not having a car alarm, yet boast secure parking with a locked gate. They allow dogs, and most of the dogs in the apartments are very poorly trained and loud, they might attack you and the owners don’t pick up after them. Especially the property managers wiener dog. Loves to attack all other dogs. The building is in a good location and close to things.
The price is cheaper than other places but that does not make it good. The appliances are the same crappy old inefficient ones you will find throughout So Cal apartments. There is some good dumpster diving potential. I do not recommend this place, unless you enjoy being robbed regularly. When we left there was a new graffiti outbreak and I said good riddance.
