As predicted, this place is closed. I told my partner that it would close in a couple of months and once again I was right. Too bad, it could have been great.

This was our first time checking this place out drove by a couple of times and was scared to go in. But We were glad that we did… We ordered a NY Style Pizza and was pleasantly surprised. The sauce is way better than dominos and papa johns. Next time we will try the lasagna.

Just got back from here, and its still good. Nick is going back to NY and Joe is taking over and has some changes up his sleeve, for the better. He plans on expanding the menu, adding calzones, a true white pizza and more, and seemed very excited it about it as he was telling us about it. They are also going to have lunch specials with different slices of pizza, spinach etc, unfortunately I work too far away to try any of those. on a very good note, the meatballs recipe is a family recipe so won’t be heading back to NY with Nick — thank goodness because this is one of the best meatball subs I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to try some of the new items, the pizza today was excellent as always. FYI, they are going to start closing one day a week, probably Monday.

To sum it up in one word? Eh. So it’s been a while since I’ve had Nick & Joes and was sadly underwhelmed by the pizza that we ordered. Apparently since I don’t have Nick’s working schedule I ended up with someone else. This guy was apparently saving all the cheese and peperoni for the OTHER customers because it obviously wasn’t put on my pizza. Having just recently experienced a proper east coast slice, yeah yeah it wasn’t from the NYC, I can see what they were shooting for. My experience wasn’t as positive. I’ve heard some great things from the locals about sandwich offerings and upcoming hot dogs so I’ll be back for sure. 3 out of 5 because Lisa N. and Mary I. won’t let me NOT go back.

OK. I’m a Californian, maybe I don’t get NY Pizza. The people in front of us just raved about how authentic this place was and how good their meal was. No one in my party rated it higher than 2 out of 5… and that was generous. So the food’s passable, …barely, how ’bout the ambiance? The water in the restrooms didn’t work, they ran out of Pepperoni on our order, the fryer wasn’t working, they ran out of $ 1’s and there were ants crawling on our table and up the wall !!! The people were friendly and they seemed to be trying but I’ll eat somewhere else.

In a town with very few real pizza ovens, this was a refreshing find. This is New York pizza: big pies, chewy crust, sweet sauce and lots of cheese. This could be nostalgia speaking, but I love this pizza. My only complaint, and this is non-trivial, is that the pizzas are cooked on perforated pans instead of directly on the oven floor. This means no char on the bottom and no big bubbles on top. But overall, the flavor and texture was great, I’d highly recommend it.

for all the positive reviews i was disappointed. the crust is tasty enough, but the sauce is pretty bland. they use a ton of cheese which i personally like, but it felt like the cheese tried to compensate for the weakness of the sauce. don’t get me wrong, service was great and the pizza was nice and fresh, just nothing spectacular. it feels more like«California style» than NY style.

Honestly the best pizza out here in the santa clarita valley! I will no longer be ordering from papa johns or any other chain pizza places for that matter. Just like Jesenia and Samantha said the sauce is fresh cheese stretching all in all amazing pizza!

i am a huge pizza fan. i try and scope out pizza places to find the best ones. I saw the commercial on tv and decided to give them a try. I called to place an order, it was about 10 minutes until closing time and they still gladly took my order. Great customer service, A+. The pizza was great, i agree with the other review as they stated, the crust was great, the sauce was definitely fresh, and the cheese is so stretchy. Prices make this such a great treat and budget friendly. I definitely recommend you to go eat there tonight. !!

My friends kept raving about how great this pizza place was the last few times they’ve had it. I really don’t know why I waited this long to try Nick & Joe’s. They are truly the Best New York Style Pizza joint!!! The crust is very good! The sauce is sooo fresh and the cheese is oh so stretchy :)’ yummy! This place use to be Pizza Man, but became Nick & Joe’s months ago. Must try this delicious Pizzeria… Run! don’t walk… lol!
