The sandwiches are very good, but breakfast and dinner are very mediocre. The service is very slow and amazingly rude at times.

I tried to come once before, but they were closed however the wait was worth it! Cannoli French Toast is amazing. We also had the two eggs and bacon which came with the options of country potatoes or fruit and croissant or wheat toast, this is a bakery and I like carbohydrates I chose the country potatoes/croissant. This was a solid decision, the croissant is so buttery and flakey it just melts in your mouth and the potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside with just enough seasoning. I cannot stress how delicious the cannoli french toast is the ricotta is so creamy and sweet you could eat them just as they are, but just add the smallest amount of the maple syrup to your bite and it takes the experience to another level. Between 2 of us each with our own breakfast drinks and sharing french toast we spent 30 dollars, to me that was pretty decent especially since we both left extremely satiated.

I have driven past this place frequently with the intention of going inside but was never sure if it was actually open. With a table full of men drinking coffee on the patio, I figured today would be the day. While I only stopped for pastry and coffee to go, the breakfast a woman was eating looked delicious and smelled so as well. The pastry was scrumptious and still warm and the coffee was just right. They have a really nice patio area outside and a small dining area inside. Nice menu… good variety.

I planned a nice romantic lunch here with a date. Upon arrival at noon, the place looked closed. We walked up to the door, and tugged on it. It didn’t budge. I attempted a push, and that didn’t work either. I knocked on the door, after nobody arrived after some minutes, I looked inside the windows. The place seemed quite closed. Chairs on tables, lights out, and locked doors. I looked at their hours carefully, double-checked the time on my cell phone, and they theoretically should have been open. I looked around the corner, and two women sat on a bench, chatting. I inquired if they were open, but they shrugged, and said that they were also here for breakfast, and also got thwarted by the locked doors and closed restaurant. I thanked them for their time, and then got back in my car. I drove across the street to the Sweet Water café, who had ceased serving breakfast, presumably while I was at this place being confused by the fact they were closed. Bummer. It looked like a nice place.

I’ve been here 3 times now for dinner. The food has been excellent! It’s always fresh. Although, it is a little pricey but you get what you pay for in a small town. The staff is friendly, but if there’s more than a couple customers the service tends to get slow. We will definitely continue to go!

I would have given a 4.5 if I could… only because they could have charged $ 27.95 for the fish tacos if on Maui. For $ 5.95 fish tacos Dominic is a magician. I fold each taco over one filet each and have 4 filets left as a bonus. Find this little place… you will be back!

Best food in town, hands down. Do not waste your money at other places in Agua Dulce. I come here as often as possible, everything is fresh and prepared to perfection every day! I recommend breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert(best brownies EVER), coffee, everything. A lot of love goes into the food, and one can tell that the menu was put together with considerable thought and inspiration. I moved to Agua Dulce from Santa Monica and have been disappointed with almost all of the local options, until I discovered Mon Ami. This little restaurant in the middle of nowhere has made this city girl foodie, very happy!

This place is a little gem of the Santa Clarita Valley tucked away in Agua Dulce. By far the best omelets in the world! Everything is made from scratch by their amazing chief Dominik. The tiramisu is absolutely the best I’ve ever had. A must stop in if your ever in the area, but totally worth the drive. Everything here is amazing!

Delicious omelets and croissants! Great patio space outside too. Service is a bit slow but we weren’t in a hurry.

We are so happy to have this restaurant in our little town. The best place to have breakfast, lunch and/or dinner! Sometimes we go twice in the same day! The garlic rolls, crème brûlée and fish tacos are the best ever! The dinners are just as good. Chicken picatta was excellent. Oh! And the tuna sandwich for lunch was very different and delish! Crumb cake is a must. She makes with apples. Wondered why it is so moist.

What a surprise! The breakfast here is over the top! Cannoli french toast and scrambled eggs with asparagus and mushrooms on a puff pastry! This was fantastic! We also enjoyed great vanilla lattes and a side of fresh fruit. The portions were large and the price was lower than expected. The service is a bit slow if they are busy but your patience will be rewarded! If you are anywhere near this restaurant for breakfast it’s a must stop and enjoy!

I have seen Mon Ami grow from the beginning, Dominick has made this place a «Diamond in the Rough». He has done so much work with this little place and the food has always been spot on. He has just expanded his menu into dinner, and WOW! My family and I came here for the first time for dinner, it was AMAZING! Dominick was so kind and treated us with a plate of Garlic Rolls that were sinfully delicious to say the least. We live here in Agua Dulce and we don’t have to much to choose from, so this is great, and I have to say… this is worth every penny! The prices are more then reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you will receive. If you love hiking, I recommend you stop in and get lunch, his sandwiches on his fresh baked baguette are so delicious. OK, wait… everything I have tried has been so good… but dinner… WOW!

My gf & I were under the weather and wanted to get out to grab some sun and we headed to Vasquez Rocks for some quality Vitamin D. We happened upon this quaint café and decided to stop for something warm and something sweet. We noticed that the gentleman working behind the counter was very focused and attentive towards the customer in front of him. We didn’t take offense that we weren’t greeted at the door by him since he was alone. We waited for our turn and decided to just share a large coffee and Crème Brûlée. Once he took our order, we discovered why this small but very charming café seemed so successful. Dominic(We found out he is the owner and proprietor) is quick with with service and a smile. He was very witty and quite savvy. My gf being from Santa Barbara knew of his other restaurants he’d opened up in her neck of the woods once introductions and short conversation occurred. The coffee was perfect! The Crème Brûlée was done correctly and was simply divine! The atmosphere was amazing and even with being under the weather with the flu… we completely enjoyed our experience here and will be coming again to try Mon Cheri’s dinner menu. We highly recommend this café to anyone near the area.

Wouldn’t waste my time or money on this place! The food and baked goods are horrible not to mention the cleanliness of the employees and facility. I was horrified when I walked to the back area of the bakery and noticed mounds of dog poop in the area where they cook the kabobs.

We just got back from an unbelievable dinner at Mon Ami. We had the saffron prawns over ravioli. If Chef Ramsey had prepared it, it couldn’t have been any more delicious. This chef is amazing! The prices are very reasonable and the ambiance is great. We’re going back again in 3 days. We want to try everything on the menu eventually. Try it — you’ll love it.

When this bakery moved into our little town I think everyone was excited. It has, however, not lived up to expectations. Coffee is decent but the majority of baked goods seem less than fresh. It’s turned into kind of an «everything» kind of place. Although I give kudos to the owner for attempting to boost his clientele by expanding the menu options but I’m just not thinking kabobs go with cupcakes and coffee. The place looks a mess. The exterior décor has fallen into disrepair, the plants are overgrown and dead and frequently the parking lot is occupied with more of the owner’s vehicles with«for sale» signs on them then patrons. Unfortunately, it’s exterior is not the worst of it. After placing an order and the owner taking the money, he went on to prepare the food without washing or sanitizing his hands. Maybe a refresher course in food sanitation would be helpful.

A cute little bakery located in a rather secluded area. I ended up coming here for a croissant breakfast after my friends and I had arrived at Vasquez Rocks before the gates were open. The croissant was both flaky and delicious! The owner was a gem. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgable about the area and had some fun facts to share about Vasquez Rocks as well. A great stop before or after a hike to Vasquez Rocks!

Warm and friendly service from the owner himself. If you’re a vintage car lover, the owner will surely have some sharing to tell. The coffee here is good and the ambiance is cutesy and quaint. OMG the cinnamon apple crumb cake was amazingly delicious. Finger licking good in fact.

The croissants were delicious and the coffee was solid but the guy seemed actively disinterested in speaking to his customers. And he got our order wrong. My wife mentioned that on a previous visit she stood there, 3 feet from him for several seconds before he even acknowledged her. Your product is good. Now it’s time to work on those social skills.

Can’t believe I’m the first to review this place! My husband and I have lived down the street for years but never even knew it was here. So glad we happened upon it:) Its owned by a really nice man named Dominic, who is actually of French Moroccan descent.(Word on the street is hes actually starting an Italian restaurant at the same location that will be open at night. the bakery is only open till 5, I believe.) Anyway, i digress. Mon Ami’s coffee is excellent, but even more delicious are their baked goods. The butter croissant is melt in your mouth amazing. The best i’ve ever had. I also bought a fruit tarte(for those of you unfamiliar with a torte it has a flaky pie-like baked crust, filled with sweet custard and glazed fruit on top). It was also the best I’ve ever tried before. The crust was soooo buttery, flaky and fresh. Let me tell you, Dominic really knows his sweet treats. They also have sandwiches on the menu(breakfast & otherwise)… I tried the breakfast croissant with ham and cheese… was amazing! Ill be back very soon. probably tomorrow for some coffee actually;)
