2 instances in which food poisening occured, over a span of a few months. The food is good, but not worth getting sick for.

Ughhh each time I see one of these I have to stop by for a dog or three. Real tasty. The fruit drink they offer are great too.

Man, the schnitz is rough. You have to love that you can get any combination of 5 corn dogs or chili dogs for $ 5.95. The quality? Mediocre at best. But I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a tasty guilty pleasure of mine. It’s fun to go with friends and joke about how you’ll all pay for it later.
Bottom line: it’s tasty and cheap, but you’ll quickly learn that the Schnitz always gets its revenge.

NO FUCKEN ICE CREAM OR ANY FROZEN TREATS!
The ice cream machine, in which everything frozen deserts are made of. Had been out of order for more that two months already!
Put a FUCKEN sign saying your don’t serve any ice cream deserts rather than having me wait in a drive thru for 15 min to order with two children in the back seat crying! Thank goodness for AC in the car!

Wow — so overpriced for what you get. Got two hot dogs and two drinks and came to almost $ 12! My works hot dog mess fell apart halfway through as well. And they list multiple hot dogs varieties but the bare bones menu over the order menu doesn’t even tell you what’s on each– except for the WORKS Hot Dog which they list only having Mustard, Pickles and tomatoes — when it actually has chili & cheese too. My recommendation is to just go to Costco if you want a hot dog — — they’re twice as big, taste better and come with a drink for 75% less $$$

Me and my siblings are constantly running down here to grab some grub or just to grab a cone!
The ladies that work here daily are some of the hardest working people I have ever seen. They always have great attitudes and always move so fast!
This is classic American fast food, not a gourmet high class buffet. So I don’t understand the rest of the bad reviews because you can’t expect too much
They do a good job and have never gotten an order wrong. The cotton candy dipped cones sound gross but they are like crack!!!
Don’t go in the drive thru and be lazy, just walk up.

I had a horrific experience at this location. A gentleman took my order and messed it up. I informed him of my order once again and completely ignored me. I said Hello a numerous times until an apparent frustrated woman took over for him. I once again said hello and I repeated my order for the 4^th time now. She cut me off snd demanded I drive up to the window. I observed 3 woman and a man thru the drive thru window, who all rolled their eyes and appeared all to be in a bad mood. My Daughters suggest I take a picture of the comment manager sticker on the window. My Daughters and I couldn’t believe the most unprofessional disrespectful treatment we received for ice cream! Unacceptable behavior! I will be contacting corporate…

I am giving THIS location 5 stars because the employees (2 of them so far) are so friendly and actually act like it’s not hideous to be working! Angel and Daniel always have a smile for me. I may be incorrect with «Angel» but the woman with a name like Angel, is so very nice. We just do NOT have enough happy people at fast food establishments. Heck, I’m happy that I’m alive and able to get chemo to save (hopefully !) my life! Thanks, Daniel and Angel (?)

UMMM WHY HAVEN’T I TRIED THIS PLACE YEARS AGO??? because I thought it just seems so fat and gross but I was so right and wrong at the same time. Fat? Definitely. Delicious HELL YA!
Ordered the chili cheese fries and corn dog on a random night and it was soooo good! Missed out on the chili cheese dog but I’ll definitely go back some day and try it out. Pretty neat b/​c where else could I go if I’m craving chili cheese dogs/​corn dogs at night???

I don’t usually bother writing reviews for fast food places, it’s usually a hit or miss. I only do when something either really outstandingly good/​bad happens and I must let it be known!
My boyfriend loves the chili cheese burgers and chili cheese dogs, so we find ourselves here a few times every couple weeks.
This review is for tonights visit, a young mexican guy was taking our order, all I could hear (all the way from the drive thru) was two ladies laughing hysterically in the background.
We ordered a #5 (chili cheesebuger & chili cheese dog w/​fries and a drink), medium fries, large rootbeer & all I wanted was a freaking all beef chili cheese dog with a pretzel bun.
BUUUUT NO, the guy probably couldn’t hear me over the rude ‘workers’ laughing.
I blame him for not listening to me when he repeated my order, I said, «All beef chili cheese dog on a pretzel bun?»
He snapped back with «Yeah I got that»
Our meal was expensive… Around 18 dollars… I know weinerschnitzel can be pricey when your order is large, I just had a feeling something was wrong but didn’t check the food (like a dumbass) and got halfway home, then my boyfriend wanted to eat in the car while it was hot still («cant wait 5 mins gotta spill chili on your car babe») and sure enough i ended up with TWO ALL BEEF DOGS, one was chili cheese with normal bun. one was plain with a pretzel bun. SERIOUSLY.
GOTTA DRIVE BACK NOW, and i’m there. THEN the ladies who were laughing (which probably caused him to fuck up my order) were being extremely rude when I asked for them to make my order correct.
SHE SNATCHED THE HOT DOGS I HAD, probably just threw them away, and gave me the correct change for my actual order.
AFTER THAT, she STILL couldnt understand what I wanted, and I’m pretty good at speaking clearly… ALL BEEF CHILI CHEESE DOG WITH A PRETZEL BUN… 3 times for her to realize what I was saying…
AND THE PRETZEL BUN WAS DISGUSTING PAIRED WITH THE CHILI…
need I say more???
Okay I must… NOT WORTH ALL THAT HASSLE FOR OKAY FOOD! 1 stars STRICTLY FOR THE ROOT BEER FLOATS, because they use soft serve ice cream, which I love in root beer floats! Otherwise it would still be one star, but an undeserved one.

Seriously how does #1 (2 chili dogs) and #5 (1 chili cheese dog and 1 chili hamburger) with an upgrade of fries and a drink come up to $ 19.09 ???
I haven’t been to a Wienerschnitzel in many years. I was craving those old time chili dogs I grew up with. Feeling like I wanted to be bad on my diet. We went to go indulge in this place. As I remembered I had some coupons in the mail. But dam they where expired :(This did not stop me I thought the price couldn’t be that different from a coupon price. right? So wrong !!!
So in the drive through we ordered our #1 and #5. Seemed we needed fries & drink with this so can we upgrade. Drove over the the window and she said it was $ 19.09 Now What the Hell ! You must have rung this up wrong… NOPE ! So we didn’t not get the large fries so then it went down to $ 16.50… Pissed off and left
Wienderschnitzel is a low grade of fast food that I refuse to pay $ 19.09 for food that isn’t even good. I will never eat there again. Just for the fact that the company needs to over charge on the prices. You might get a better deal if you have a coupon but after my experience I would father go to a nice sit down place and spend my money on good food.
If by chance an manger finds to read this review. Question your menu and charges. Because you will keep on loosing customer at this rate. There are too many good places to eat.

These employees work their butts off! Instead of going through the drive through tonight I got out. While waiting I was watching them. I was just in awe! The food is great, and the service is better!

I can’t believe what they charge for this mediocre food. The last few times the service was horrid and the food was meh. Certainly not worth what you pay for. Today was the crap-​icing on the poo-​poo-​cake. They tried giving our bag of slop to the person in front of us twice. It took over 5 minutes to get from the speaker to the window. We were given no straws for our drinks. They didn’t offer ketchup, just threw some mustard in the bag and let us go. There’s never a friendly person there. The person today only acknowledged us when they handed us the bag without so much as a thank you or f***k you. Then the all-​beef expensive dogs were way over cooked, the corn dogs were cold and there was so little dr pepper syrup in our drinks they looked like tea. Need I go on? The ONLY reason I will ever consider returning is if it’s a cold day in hell and I’m really hungover!

Decent enough location for this chain– have gone here a few times with the BF for dessert when Yumi Yogurt nearby is closed. BF has had their corndogs and chilidogs.
Driving by, this location seems to be fairly busy– there’s usually people in line outside or in the drive-​thru, which is surprising to me because lot is small and I wouldn’t think they’d get much foot traffic. But the kitchen is efficient and orders have been correct when we’ve gone.
They have daily specials for dessert items, usually a pretty good deal. I prefer a simple soft-​serve cone but love how they offer the option of sprinkles, which most places do not. Chocolate dip cone is also decent, pricing is fair.

$ 5 for 5 corndogs or chilidog of choice.
Corndog: ok, warm. nothing like.“ah…good“
Chilidog: good amount of chili. I like this better than the corndog.
Just a good deal. Great for drive-​thu. Not much seating space outside. Fast service.

I find myself at this location because the El Camino location has closed.
This was going to be one star simply for the fact that I ordered two items from a bad drive-​thru PA, and when I returned home the bag contained someone else’s order. Worst of all… the item I was craving was missing. Not a happy camper.
Upon returning the cashier greeted me, told me they had realized their mistake, and was ready with the correct order… Not only telling me to keep the first order, but asking if I’d like a free soda for having to come back.
Now there’s something to be said for good customer service, especially when it’s correcting a mistake on the part of the establishment. Would I have preferred they got it right the first time? Yes. Am I satisfied with their resolution? Yes.
As for getting in and out, they lose a star. The primary drive-​thru entrance backs up onto Saratoga and the exit is perilous at best. Don’t even try the other entrance unless you want to park. Great location, but horrible «I hope you have insurance» vehicular accessibility.

I grew up «der Wienerschnitzel» in SoCal. As a kid, it was my favorite place. Way, way above going to McDonald’s or any other fast food joint. My order is pretty much always the same — corn dog, plain hot dog, fries and a Mountain Dew. I don’t eat fast food often anymore — rarely, in fact. But Wiener makes a good Schnitzel and I will gladly revisit again.
Service here sucks.

I was forced to eat here because the one on elcamino in Santa Clara closed and my daughter really wanted Wienerschintzel. The food here sucks. Mini corn dogs tasted bad I spit it out and told my daughter not to eat them. The fries were very undercooked. Cashiers are very greedy with the ketchup packets they only like to give you 2 at a time. I miss my Wienerschnitzel on elcamino. Now they knew how to do it right everything was always perfect. Why oh why did they have to close down?

Only went here as we had a buy one get one free Chicago dog coupon. The flier made it look so good that we just had to go here. I think it’s only been my second time going to a Wiernerschnitzel in my life!
My husband and I each used a coupon and ordered a side of fries. The Chicago dog came with all the toppings, but the dog was fat! I remember the actual Chicago dogs were skinny. The pepper on there was so spicy that we ended up picking it out on the others. It took awhile for the spice to leave my mouth! Overall, it was okay, but don’t get too excited as it’s not a Chicago dog for sure… only a slight resemblance. I was full off of one, that I didn’t need an extra one.
While sitting outside eating, I was surprised to see how many people came here especially through the drive-​thru. I didn’t realize how popular this place was!
