My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Shaanova for more than 5 years now. She is very easy to talk to and very reachable through phone, emails and appointments when you need it. Went for a basic physical — was hoping for a little more dialog and a better bedside manner. Maybe she was having a bad day… she came off as very nonchalant and a little put out.

I have been seeing Dr Shaanova for a couple of years and love her so much that I recommended her to my husband as well. I have been wanting to write a review for a long time. She reminds me of a trusted family doctor in a small town setting. I can tell that she cares about my well being and takes the time to find the true diagnosis. For a long time I thought I had a certain diagnosis, but she assesses the test results and told me that I don’t have that diagnosis. Her nurse assistant is great too. This was the place where I found out I was pregnant. I am grateful for having a doctor like her. I saw the other reviewer’s negative comment. I don’t know why she is upset. Isn’t it better for a doctor to have all the knowledge about you first before making a diagnosis? I would rather have a doctor who does not feel over confident about making a diagnosis when all the facts and info are not present.

Originally wanted to see another doctor, but she wasn’t accepting new patients. Made an appointment with Dr. Shaanova, stating I need prescription for certain medication. After taking my copayment and wasting my time, she told me she wasn’t comfortable diagnosing me. You knew what I was coming for. Thank you for wasting my time, and my insurance money. Go to another doctor!
