Milly’s Home Daycare

My son has been a part of this family since he was a little over one year old. I say family, because that’s what he feels like when he is there, a part of a second loving family. I go to work, knowing that my son is well taken care of.
He is well nurtured, and each day represents an exciting and new experience for him. I always see a happy child when either I or my husband pick him up. There is no greater blessing than going to work, with that kind of peace of mind. Martha is very loving and the environment that she provides is welcoming, friendly, but also conducive to learning. My son knows how to count to 10 in English and in Spanish. He can recognize some letters in the alphabet, in English and in Spanish… and he loves to sing. He knows a lot of colors now, and he is only 3. I trust that the curriculum that Martha has for the pre-​school age kids, is very well rounded, and rich. I am a Pre-​school teacher myself, and I know that my son, is definitely achieving his milestones. That’s how I know the curriculum is working PERFECTLY! Yes, it’s a home daycare, but it’s also a wonderful place for Pre-​school age children.
I can say without a doubt that the academic and social skills that my son has earned, and continues to develop are real treasures that will follow him for life.
Martha, his assistants, and my son’s peers, make for a lovely combination, where learning, is fun, exciting, and SAFE. For now, Milly’s Daycare, my son’s second home, will still be his second home for quite a while, and I would not have it any other way, Martha is WONDERFUL.

My son has been coming to Millys for almost a year now. I feel so happy and comfortable leaving my son here. He was at a previous day care where he was having trouble with listening and biting. Martha accepted my son with love and open arms. My son is a different kid for the better since the day he walked into Marthas door. And it’s the love patients and support Martha and her staff share. Along with the art projects, songs and friends my son has made. When I pick up my son and see his smile it tells it all! This place is the best !

I have my son with Martha, at Milly’s home daycare. It is so comforting to know he is somewhere safe and with people I can trust. Leaving your child is one of the hardest things you can do as a parent. When you feel confident about the people watching your child it really eases the process. Martha is a mother and you can tell she just has warmth about her that radiates.
The Daycare center itself is located in her home, the children have a play space and a work area, as well as, a well manicured backyard to play in. It is the perfect small environment I want my son in. We feel lucky to have been referred here and found them!
