Okay… This review is solely on the first 5 minutes of my dining experience. We came in sat ourselves at a table that some random guy gestured towards. I guess he worked there. I mean, he was wearing black… the table had paper on it, no silverware, no menus. We just sat and waited. Nothing happened, so we left. It felt like they didn’t want to serve us at all. There was one other family in there that was ordering. That’s it. In an entire restaurant on a Saturday night. I wish you luck.

Food: So far I like it. We didnt have typical crabs/​seafood combo. We had a-​la-​cart.

Checked this place out last night. It feels like Ma Dang is the back patio area of Cooking Crab, but I’m not sure if Ma Dang just takes over Cooking Crab at night.
Anyway… this place gets five stars because the staff was playing a ton of Heaven Trap and Porter Robinson. That’s all that’s needed for a top rating in my book.
Good food. Good service. Good music. Good experience.

Ma Dang is a great little spot with a wonderful staff and excellent food. I came in with my honey tonight and we split the Seafood Love combo — Mussels, Clams, Shrimp, Crab, 2 Oyster shooters, Steamed Egg, Fish cake soup, and a Pitcher of beer. It was a TON of food and everything was great. The egg was cooked perfectly and the soup was delicious. The drinks by themselves are a bit expensive at $ 7.90 a beer, but the food was very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back!
