Fast service, really good sandwiches and fresh salads. They even have the option of sourdough bread for most of the sandwiches(my fav). The sandwich is super thick with your choice of additions and almost a foot long. Way to filling to finish alone(about $ 7 for these specialty sandwiches) STEAL! For sure a good spot to try if you’re looking for a solid, filling lunch for under ten bucks

Quality of SW is really good. The city SW is the best. You can see that how to make your SW. The kitchen is very clean and all workers are nice.

Surprised this place doesn’t have a bit better of a rating, the sandwiches are great! The«Marina» is my favorite so far. It comes with pastrami, bacon, cream cheese, and avocado. I get it on a dutch crunch roll, because we all know the dutch roll is the best. You get a good amount of food for about $ 8.00 and it only took them about five minutes to make. It’s not the nicest place to sit down and eat, but the option is there. Outside area is a nice place to sit on a warm day though. I recommend giving em a try if you’ve never been.

Located in front of Costco — The turkey cream cheese and avocado sandwich was just delicious. The free cookie was so enjoyed by my colleague, that it is worth a try if you are in the neighborhood.

I’ve been here several times over the past year while I’m out here for work, and I’ve never left here disappointed. Sandwiches are huge and delicious. They even throw in a free cookie. I wish I lived here, because this would be my go to sandwich shop!

Drive by here several times s day. Decided I would swing by and give it a try. Ordered Reuben sandwich and small bowl of clam chowder. Both are my standards. Most places put out one or the other or even both. Well both were awesome. The sandwich big thick and all the right stuff. The chowder, thick, rich, and very well done. When over this way my new go to place for lunch. Prices reasonable as well.

I am not a big sandwich person, eating them maybe once a month. So when I’m in the mood for a sandwich, it has to be very good. My sandwich was perfect! Tuna(not soggy) on toasted marble rye with all of the veggies. My husband loved his chicken breast sandwich(The Mission). This is my go-to sandwich place from now on.(I wish they’d add a hummus sandwich to the menu.)

Great quality and taste. Give yourself time when eating here as good food takes longer to prepare than junk food.

One of my favorite sandwich shops ! We ordered the Gold rush on dutch crunch with everything! Since my first time, I’ve been addicted. Every time I’m craving a sandwich and I’m in the area… I’m always here. I always wanted to try the other sandwiches but I always get this one again! Gold rush on dutch crunch with everything: the cranberry jam. Omg! It’s what makes this sandwich so addicting and different compared to other sandwiches ! Adding the crunch of the Dutch crunch too! Honestly, it’s so good. It’s a must try and I will always come back here for this sandwich! Great service too! The meal also comes with a chocolate chip cookie and a drink!

Good price compared to Subway. Had the dutch crunch chicken breast. Everything tasted the way it should have. Warmed(i.e. microwave), melted cheese inside, tasted fresh. Near the Costco in Santa Clara so you can stop by if you’re sick of having Costco food court hot dogs(although, is that possible?) They give a cookie too with each order. Same price, but better than Subway. That should be their slogan.

I tried this place today out of the blue, I was hungry and why not try something new. I got the #1(Chicken, bacon, avacado on Sourdough). The gentleman who helped me was very nice and helpful. I took my sandwich to go and ate it at work, I wasn’t overly impressed by the sandwich. I don’t think I like the garlic spread, it made my sandwich taste kind of weird. The chicken seemed like it was frozen and processed and the lettuce was actually a little soggy and old, could have been because I got the sandwich to go. Anyway, it is an okay place to eat I think, I’d just ask for no garlic sauce on this sandwich next time.

I could eat here everyday! My work is right across the street, so I always try to come before the rush gets in at midday. Never get past the No. 1(The City)

Very good specialty sandwiches with fresh ingredients served on delicious dutch crunch bread! They have a variety of different specialty hot and cold sandwiches, mostly named after locations in San Francisco. I ordered the COIT Tower Sandwich, which had hot roast beef, pastrami, and jack cheese along with all the vegetables. Everything was fresh and the sandwich was toasted perfectly. They do not skimp on the lettuce(ha!) or any other vegetables resulting in a very filling sandwich. As an added bonus they even give you a chocolate chip cookie that is a great ending to a great meal.

Sandwich was great, prices are great, ingredients were fresh. Bread was a tad tough not as good as Safeway Dutch Crunch but it was definitely worth visiting again. Pasta salad was not good at all, too much oil and not enough flavor/salt. The sandwich was really good though. Will be back!

The Dutch Crunch here is excellent! Gives Zanotto’s a run for the money! My first time here. All the names of their sandwiches have something to do with San Francisco… this is just a guess, this company is based out of SF. I’m not sure if it is a chain or a local mom & pops store. I got the South of Market on the Dutch Crunch. Turkey, salami, ham and American cheese for $ 7.49 and they toss in a home made cookie. I was delighted and enjoyed the Sandwich very much. Everything tasted good, nothing seemed stale or old and the bread was really good. I will be back!

I used to eat at the one in Mtn View until it shuttered. Recently doing some work in the near area we decided for a really late lunch. Got the reuben on dutch crunhc. Good pastrami, sauerkraut and sauce. Sure hit the spot. Came out pretty quick and with the outside patio we got to enjoy part of the nice sunny day to boot.

First of all it’s a cute name! It sounds fresh and it’s close to Costco. So about a good amount of walking from Japantown is perfect! Lettuce has an extensive amount of specialty but not too much that overwhelms. It’s pretty much $ 7 for their specialty sandwiches that is loaded with meat! We shared a #5 Turkey on a Dutch Crunch aptly called Alcatraz. It’s turkey, bacon and Swiss cheese. They were giving out free chocolate chip cookies the day we were there. Good bribe:) But bribe or no bribe I will be back. Good service, good food and the salad was not bad either!

One of my co-workers introduced this place to me a few days ago. There were a whole bunch of great sandwiches on their board menu, but I’m a Hot Pastrami lover, so I got their«Marina» sandwich. Hot Pastrami, Bacon, Cream Cheese and Avocado on Wheat Roll. Oh emm gee! It’s so good. Next time, I’d probably won’t have tomatoes and the avocado. I’m not really a tomato fan if it is in sandwiches. The avocado was just too caloric which I don’t really need. Anyways, this place is a total treasure. You go in, pick what you want, order, pay and go. A real gem in town! Highly recommended for all busy professionals. Will definitely come back! P. S. Free chocolate chip cookie for every order! Who won’t like that???
